The specials on Friday are a favorite for my husband. He loves catfish and this is the day they have boneless fried filets. They brought us a basket of biscuits and cornbread. The biscuits were flaky and delicious. The special includes the meat, 2 vegetables, and dessert. I chose the fried flounder filet with butter beans and mashed potatoes and gravy. My husband got the fried catfish with creamed corn and rice and gravy. Both were terrific. The food is home cooked. The dessert is either Apple crisp with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. We both chose the Apple crisp which was served hot. It was fantastic. We both enjoyed our meals. The servers and all of the folks who work here are great. They're all friendly. This is a wonderful off the beaten path place to eat.

Went here to dine totally based on Tripadvisor reviews. Very pleased we did. Very nice decor and clean. Service was great. Menu selection very typical. The Sangria was delicious. Chips and salsa great. Our meals which were either hard shelled tacos or beef or chicken enchiladas were very good. Mexican avocado salad also good. Extremely reasonable prices. Definitely returning next time we are in the area.

The Stuckey's has tons of "souveniers" all through the store. It is pretty tight in the aisles so not sure that a wheel chair can make it in many parts. The store has unique gifts and some very tacky gifts too. The best are the pecan logs which we usually get here. You can spend some time looking at all of the stuff in the store. There are plenty of T-shirts too. The prices vary. You can find something in your price range. The lady working there was new to the area, but very nice. We didn't eat at the DQ since we were coming from dinner elsewhere. This is a fun place to stop and look at all the stuff. You may even find something that you want here.

Do yourself a favor and skip the calamari. They were few and tiny. Like what you can find in your grocery store's frozen section. Not worth $7.95. Not even close.
I also had CW3 combo platter. Excellent wings. And my chicken was fine, nice and tender.
So a little pricey. And they don't give over-generous portions. Just so you know.

Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
Stopped in for lunch today. The server was very nice. She brought my drink and got my order. She checked on me throughout the meal and brought anything that I needed in a timely fashion. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak which comes with three sides and biscuits. I ordered the mashed potatoes with the sawmill gravy, the mac n cheese, and the sweet potato casserole with pecans. The dinner came out quickly. I asked for extra gravy and my server got it right away. The food was very good.

We were here for lunch. We both did the buffet which was good but I was hoping for more BBQ items. Like ribs or brisket. It was mostly chicken, baked or fried. The menu might and probably does change, I was only there the one time. All in all it was good for the noney.

If you are passing by Summerton I highly recommend you stop here. Bagged lunches contained your choice of a sandwich, drink, pasta or fruit salad and dessert (cookie or brownie) with unique flavors and your choice of bread. The store used to have a more extensive gift shop, but if you are looking for a little-special gift they will accommodate you and even wrap it for you. If you have guests, why not treat them with brownies from W-L? They are decadent and made from scratch. They are closed on Sunday and Mondays and they only serve until 3:30PM. Their owner Wendy is there to assist you with a friendly smile, and all the girls who work there are very nice. Lunches average $7.50.

Staff is reliable and competent, and the menu is varied, but mainly seafood. Portions are nice size, and if you're not super hungry, you can share. They're located right near several hotels, which is convenient. Full bar too.

Family style restaurant with handmade cypress tables with an open air feel with full bar and wait staff.
This is a real hidden gem because HondaLink won't even find it. We had to stop on the way to ask directions and it is very out of the way. The restaurant has a great menu with steaks and seafood along with plenty of other choices. The special this particular evening was Surf and Turf. It was a 16 ounce ribeye with either shrimp or scallops. Both of us ordered that, one with shrimp and one with scallops. The seafood could be fried or grilled. We chose fried. The ribeyes were ordered rare and I did stress that we really mean it. You also have a choice of marinated or not marinated. We both chose the marinated. It is a secret marinade, but has a teriyaki flavor to it. The waitress was very friendly and made small talk. She made sure that our drinks were filled. She delivered the salad to my husband and one to go for me since I didn't want that much food and wanted to enjoy the steak. The steaks were delivered and were cooked perfectly. The shrimp or scallops were over the top of the steak and the loaded potato was great. The flavor of the steaks was delicious. There were 5 scallops or shrimp over the steak. The waitress brought us extra butter too. The meal was delicious. I really wanted to try some of the desserts, but we were too full. There were Deep Fried Oreos and Moon Pies on the menu along with a new item, Funnel cake fries served with or without ice cream. This may entice us to make another visit.

Best food on the lake! We eat there at least once a week since December 2016. Great summer entertainment on Saturday nights.
