This a pleasant location for either leisure or work. We had a business breakfast and were a number of people. Our order came out more or less together and the orders were correct.
I had a lovely open Sandwich and a wonderful vegetable juice.
Di note that not everything on the menu us available throughout the day.
Lunch items only served from 12:00 mid day and breakfast is not all day.
The surroundings are interesting with the goat tower and other obstacles for the goats.
It is not too expensive and really good quality food.

Welcome to Noop. We hope you feel at home here, because that is how we think of our restaurant. After all, we spend more time here than we do at our homes. Our beautiful heritage building breathes warmth and hospitality. We know many of our guests by name; some of them have become our friends. As for us, we were customers before we became owners. Noop was established in 2005, and we had an affinity for the restaurant when we took it over in 2012. It's still as popular with returning locals as it is with visiting tourists, and we've kept everything people love about it while also making it our own. There's plenty for you to choose from, and we're sure that you'll find something you like. The meals are all fresh and so is the inspiration on our specials board. If you have special requests, we'll try our best to accommodate them. Whatever you order, you can enjoy it knowing that we make the same kind of food here as we do at home. Unpretentious. Often spontaneous. Always delicicious.
We had an excellent meal at Noop. The food was delicious. The service and staff were good. We were given the Wine list to select from, unfortunately the prices were totally exorbitant. Not sure why the prices are so high! It would be better to bring your own wine and pay a corkage charge.

We went to Bosman‘s for dinner. The property is in a stunning setting with a fantastic view. The dining room however is a supposed to be old style but has the reception right in it. The full potential of the dining room is lost. The food however was nicely presented and very tasty. Food and service will deserve a come back and hopefully one day the dusty resemblance of the interior is cleaned up.

cosecha is fresh latin cooking with vineyard views. The name, Spanish for "harvest", reflects our location next to the harvest area where grapes are sorted and crushed at Noble Hill wine estate. Ingredients are grown on the farm where possible, and we maintain a thriving pepper and vegetable garden which you are free to explore during your visit.
We visited on our last trip and at first I wondered if it was a lack of imagination to return again - but the food was so delicious that lunch at Cosecha was one of the highlights of our trip. The setting was even lovelier...MoreThank you very much for coming back: it is nice to hear that you enjoyed your visit! Hope to see you again soon.

Housed in an old cow shed, Babel is a wonderful mix of Cape Dutch architecture with contemporary glass walls that makes for a simple yet edgy environment in which to try our tasty yet often unconventional combinations. We have a farm-to-fork philosophy, which means we like to serve food that is seasonal and that reflects our "pick, clean and serve" approach. Because our menu is guided by what is available in the garden, our food always reflects the season, and so in summer we may serve you a yellow salad of pineapple, gooseberries, granadillas, yellow tomatoes and apricots while in winter a slow-cooked leg of lamb in red wine is more likely. Dessert subscribes to four flavours, namely salty, bitter, sweet and sour. And while our meals are creative, we don't like to tamper unduly with our food. Our meals are always clear in structure, so that fruit and vegetables gathered daily from the garden is often served with its skin on. Helpings are generous and depending on the weather you can take your meal in the glass-enclosed restaurant or under the plane trees in the courtyard.
Delicious, imaginative food and very friendly staff. Lovely setting and great service. Above all, great to eat at a fine dining location which serves decent sized portions - the only restaurant in the region from which I came away full!Dear Richard Simplicity and honest servings is what we're all about! We are delighted you had a memorable time. Farm greetings, Lize and the Babylonstoren team

This spot has a well-deserved long-standing reputation. Expect to find consistent food (that ever-elusive ingredient to success) and friendly, efficient service thanks to the personal care of the owner, Olivier, and his family team.<br>This popular Paarl restaurant offers an intriguing mix of European-style dishes with the best that this area has to offer. The owners, Olivier and Delenia Jaeggi-Wright, he being Swiss and she of Italian descent, bring a European sensibility to a cuisine that is never precious, but concentrates on maximum flavour in generous portions - the kind of cooking that has made it a favourite with the locals for many years. Helping Olivier with the cooking is Thabo Nqadini, who has been at Terra Mare for 9 years, adding his very own African touch to the Swiss style of the house....
We booked months in advance and they damaged to lose the reservation. I took my confirmation email to make sure we got in. That aside we had a lovely evening it what must be a top restaurant in Paarl. The place was full but the ambience calm and relaxed. The serving staff are efficient and good natured. They were seen to take little problems in their stride and were always smiling.
We both had filet steak which was beautifully cooked. We noticed that many of the other diners were locals who were regulars which was a good sign. The prices were acceptable the evening was without doubt excellent value for money.
Lovely restaurant - highly recommended.

Nederburg presents the restaurant, The Red Table, situated in its iconic manor house, a national monument. It has been passionately created in collaboration with well-known Cape Town foodie, Andrea Foulkes, and offers locally-sourced, fresh food in a comfortable and historic atmosphere. The accent is on tasty, simple but superb eating with flavours to match the award-winning range of Nederburg wines. Signature favourites include the duo of lamb, venison burger, fillet steak and pork belly. During the summer months, the restaurant spills out onto the Terrace and sprawling Gardens against the backdrop of vineyards and the towering Drakenstein Mountains. In the fragrant and lush Gardens surrounding the manor house, you'll find leisurely spots in the cool shade of the age-old trees you can enjoy fare created to complement Nederburg's delicious wines. With fireplaces ablaze during the winter months, the plush and comfortable interior of the manor house is the perfect setting for leisurely meals shared with family and friends when chilly outside.
It is very difficult to fault this restaurant this is my forth visit and it was just as impressive as the previous visits, service and food is faultless, the Chef even come to the table to check that everything is OK.
The menu is limited but I would say there is something for everyone, but I dont think you could go there on a regular basis, the wines are superb and reasonably priced it is 5 * for sure. One slightly disappointing minor matter is the salt and pepper grinders have obviously be refilled numerous times and labels are peeling off the bottles, given the attention to detail with everything else that is something they should fix.
Highly recommended worth a visit.

We are a coffeeshop and florist with an informal cafe vibe, providing breakfast, light lunches and take-outs. We bake our own cakes, mill our own wheat for the farm bread we bake, we also make our own gluten free/low-carb bread. We are fully licensed and have 2 branches in Paarl, soon to open a 3rd one. You can order cakes, gift hampers and flowers via email or phone and we offer Delivery. We offer a variety of interesting health options, with Chef AB Conradie being the brain behind interesting offerings like fermented kombucha and kefir as well as sugar free ice teas and turmeric drinks.
Heard a lot about it from friends living in the area. Little bit disappointed after having a toasted Sandwich where the bread was partially stale, the fillings cold and the quiche was dry.
It's a nice little place with a lovely atmosphere but I wouldn't order food there again ♀️♀️

This place was recommended to us and we arrived quite eager to see everything that was on offer.
It is a lovely site with neat Gardens and pathways.
We wanted to sample some of the biltong but we're unable to find where this was due to the poor signage.. We subsequently realised this was the beer garden (when back in the UK after visiting their website). We wandered into the brewing area which was a little busy but we weren't approached by anyone so after a short wait we left. It wasn't until we started to drive off that we saw a chap in the car park handling out maps/guides to people.
I'm sure this place has the potential to be 5/5 but I can't award it this as we didn't know where to go and it wasn't clear what is on offer. A shame for us. For others looking to visit I would suggest visiting their website in advance. Had we of done this I am sure we would have had a more enjoyable time.

Consistency, expertise and a commitment to always deliver beyond expectation is what we strive for with every bottle of Glen Carlou wine - we also aim to do this with every plate of food at Restaurant at Glen Carlou. Enjoy innovative dishes inspired by the seasons whilst taking in the breathtaking landscape from inside our architecturally designed building or from the shaded Terrace deck.
We eat on the balcony. It has an amazing view. The winery makes amazing wines available at good prices as you are eating in the winery.
Service was efficient.
The set menu included an Amuse bouche & a pre-dessert. Both were excellent. The choice on the set menu was limited. We all ordered the tomato salad starter. It was good without being amazing. The line fish was off on the day.
2 of us ordered pork belly & 2 ordered salmon off the a la carte. We were allowed to include the salmon on the set menu but it did attract a supplement. The salmon was good, the pork belly was only ok. You definitely need to order sides. The cheese board was very good & generous.
