Longfellow's Wayside Inn is a unique part of the historic landscape of Massachusetts, and the oldest operating American Inn. Featuring an authentic building style and traditional New England food, we offer the ideal location for romantic nights out, banquets, family events, company parties, and weddings. Our menu provides exceptional quality at great value, including hearty portions and seasonal foods. We encourage our guests to spend a day with us, touring the serene and historic grounds, enjoying a drink in our 300-year old Tavern, and settling in for dinner in one of our historic rooms. We have an open patio in the warmer months, and lit fireplaces through winter.
My significant other and I went to the Wayside Inn for a romantic dinner. The ambiance was completely unromantic, with harsh lighting and an unattractive room, and the food was poor.
On the positive side, when we told our waitperson that it was our anniversary, she gave us a complimentary dessert.
Overall, make sure that you reserve in one of the fireplace rooms, or just tour the lovely grounds.

We have been going to The Cheese Shop for years. They let you taste different cheeses, have a wonderful knowledge of cheeses and their pairings with wine and have an extensive selection of breads, crackers, desserts and wine. It is always busy. They make good sandwiches for lunch.

This is an ice cream, shop with a few other finger foods and drinks on the side. The ice cream is the reason to come. Every flavor I've ever had there has been excellent. The Vietnamese cinnamon is a real standout. There is plenty of seating. Being a former Victorian house, it has a lot of atmosphere. Service is friendly and efficient. Enjoy.

Absolute laser focus on good coffee. Small, hidden almost ... Great care taken to pour excellent coffee. Only visited once so far but will be back. Don't expect fratte/latte schmaty stuff.... I like the simplicity of the place.

My son especially enjoyed his frappe with a scoop of ice cream on top called a floater. Best of both worlds -- you can drink and eat it. I loved the rock-n-Rolo ice cream -- chocolate with Rolos in it. My husband enjoyed a fresh peach sundae. Prices were reasonable. Cash only. Tables out back. Lots of parking yet weird how everyone parks further out.

We wanted to go en famille and remembered this nifty place that we haven't been to in awhile! The food was great and seasonal drinks even better! Portions were good sized, no one went home hungry. Our group covered the meat menu...filet mignon, braised veal, lamb chops, sirloin, rib eye and 3 different appetizers; all were cooked as requested and well presented. I'll need to put it back on my radar as a place to go frequent !

80 Thoreau is a progressive fine dining restaurant set in the beautiful New England town of Concord, sourcing from local farms and offering genuine hospitality.
the food was creative and very good. the service was aloof and uninterested in us. Unfriendly. the steak, burger, scallops, grilled swordfish, bluefish pate, roasted chicken were all very good. It is hard to be more enthusiastic about it due to the service, but we would probably try again if we were in the area. Had ben so excited to try it but that excitement was dulled by the near rude service.

We have had take-out food from Paani many times and have loved it every time! Every dish, whether mild or spicy, was absolutely delicious! The owners are warm and welcoming and make every guest, whether eating in or taking out, feel like family. Best Indian food in the MetroWest area!

Sudbury Coffee Works is a retail gourmet coffee shop and cafe, founded in 1995. We are located in the town of Sudbury, Massachusetts, approximately 25 miles northwest of Boston. Over the years we have developed a loyal and enthusiastic "family" of customers. Along with our premium coffees, we have a cafe and we offer carry-out and catering services. All of the coffee beans we use have been roasted on the premises. Our large and majestic coffee roaster was imported from France. It has a stainless steel vent that rises up two stories within the shop. It is bright red - an imposing presence! The roaster lives in the retail section of the store; everyone enjoys the sight, the sounds, and the delicious aroma of the roasting process. More than 15 wooden barrels of coffee beans are on display, holding coffee from various countries that is available for purchase. You will also find some valuable information on the Coffee Talk Page. Our cafe features a mural depicting a lush Columbian coffee plantation, and charming hand-painted tables. Here we offer delicious light meals and, of course, our wonderful coffees, as well as other beverages. Please see our Menu. You may dine in comfort with us, or contact us for carry-out orders.
Sudbury Coffee Works has the best salads. The salads are very fresh and delicious. The salads are well worth the 20 minute drive (one way) to get one at lunch time. Thanks Patti! We all appreciate that. We try hard to distinguish ourselves from the "chains" by using all fresh made in house food.
