The services were just WOW! From the moment I had entered the restaurant to paying the bill, the service crew was very attentive, friendly. They really went out of their way to make you feel at home and gave me a lot of suggestion on where to shop, where to hire Grab services. Food wise, the freshness of the salmon belly satisfied my craving :) Lastly, the prices were easy on the pocket.

The restaurant is welcoming and its nice to be greeted by the cooks when you come in. The food was ok, nothing to write home about. The barbecue ribs was tender and fell off the bone which was lovely. However, I wanted some Balinese home cooking but unfortunately did not get it. The beef rendang was more like a poorly prepared beef curry and tasteless. The mixed satay was dry and not great. It was a real shame as we had been looking forward to eating there.

This is a collection of maybe 150 street food stalls that are situated on a corner plot. They cater for the large student population nearby and the range and quality are fantastic.
The prices of the food here are definitely not cheaper than any other aircon restaurants, even though it is not air-conditionered. Quality of food is just mediocre, some even bad, probably mainly due to the fact that most of the cooks who man the kitchen here are foreign workers. Just an expensive hawker centre.

We've been here several times with our relatives. Seafood is very fresh as you can pick whatever you want directly from the water tanks. The food is reasonably good but not excellent. It's a bit pricey yet the restaurant is always crowded and tables are placed quite close to each other. For those not living in the area, do note that the restaurant is located on the outskirts near Subang airport.

We came here based on friend’s recommendation and it was a superb dinner. Dishes are not too big so we could try a few at once. All super tasty, full of flavour. Great use of spices. The lamb biriyani was probably the best we had...MoreThank you for your kind words. Noted your complaint for masala tea.

[A friend's recommendation. A trip across town. A nondescript row of shops. A dingy staircase. A small terribly packed upper room. Bad ventilation. Lousy lighting. Patrons smoked (I thought it's illegal). Noisy and informal. An open kitchen and grill. Lone chef. Wait staff in black tees. Mostly surly. A family business it appears. Not the most charming place.]
I tried to make last minute Reservations and was told they were fully booked for the night. I pleaded. I told them we didn't mind a late slot. They couldn't guarantee. Then the lady called back and told us to come immediately - there was a cancellation. We raced over. We were looking for something authentic and we found it. Very quirky and no frills - just good food. Very robust. The same lady [portly, serious and steely, Cantonese-speaking, tattooed brows, hair tied back] took our order. When we told her we came across town, she softened a little and became friendlier, even appreciating us. Some strategic and tactical orders to sample as much without too many repeats. Beef tongue, sirloin, chicken thigh, pork belly, eggplant, ginkgo, mushrooms, several specialty pork rolls, squid, etc. And the piece de resistance (in our opinion) the grilled onigiri - smoky charred and irresistibly delicious.
Everything is delicious and well prepared. Perfect marinade and seasoning. The meticulous and precise grilling with just the right degree of charring. Simple and plain. Pricey. Any more authentic you'd have to fly to Tokyo.

Definitely my favourite restaurant ever. It's the ONLY restaurant in SS17, Subang Jaya that survived.... That has to mean something :) It's tasty, and it still tastes the same after so many years of operation. The staff are friendly, food is delicious, and the price is very very reasonable compared to other Japanese restaurants in the nearby neighbourhoods. Teppanyaki, Wakayama Ramen & Katsu Curry Rice (sauce is loaded with shredded beef!!) are my favourite dishes! I always recommend this place to people I know...

A great place for a special occasion. Food is raving delicious. The paella are cooked with authentic flavours. Lovely ambiance and the wait staff are super attentive to details and helpful. It is our go to place for family or romantic dinners or even just a place to chill with your buddies after a long day.
