Nova Gorica (pronounced [ˈnɔ̀ːʋa ɡɔˈɾìːtsa] ( listen); population: 13,852 (town); 21,082 (incl. suburbs); 31,000 (municipality)) is a town and a municipality in western Slovenia, on the border with Italy. Nova Gorica is a planned town, built according to the principles of modernist architecture after 1947, when the Paris Peace Treaty established a new border between Yugoslavia and Italy, leaving nearby Gorizia outside the borders of Yugoslavia and thus cutting off the Soča Valley, the Vipava Valley, the Gorizia Hills and the northwestern Karst Plateau from their traditional regional urban centre. Since 1948, Nova Gorica has replaced Gorizia as the principal urban centre of the Goriška or Gorizia region, as the northern part of the Slovenian Littoral has been traditionally called.

Si, come da titolo...probabilmente i gestori erano troppo impegnati in alcune tavolate esterne che curare gli altri clienti all'interno...nessuna possibilità di avere un panino (alle 20 di sera), se non uno già preparato in un vassoio sul banco...ordinati tre aperitivi, che il cameriere è venuto a chiederci tre volte cosa avevamo chiesto, perchè era difficile scriverlo su un pezzo di carta, se la memoria non aiuta..serviti senza una patatina, stuzzichino o altro...zero assoluto...no, mi spiace, così non funziona..

If you're passing by this area and don't know what to do in the evening/night, just come to this place. It's cozy, prices are fair, the staff is very professional and nice. It's the only bar in town that plays alternative music (rock, punk, etc.) and you may meet different kind of people (fyi, most of the customers are young people). It's also 'the last stop before you go home to sleep' because the other bars/pub close earlier.

We visited this bar twice in the last week and we couldn't find the wine that we asked. The manager tried to sell us his wine even though we didn't wanted. After three bottles of wine we still had the same glasses and all the pitchers on the table and we felt treated like we just have to bring money in. The costumer service was better from the employees then from the manager. Because we hope in better and we consider this review helpful for the staff we will try for the last time to consume in this bar, hopefully in a better and politest way. Il vino che avete ordinato era una vitovska, una volta ricevuto l'ordine dalla nostra cameriera e constatato che era terminato, ci siamo presentati personalmente per elencare una serie di bottiglie alternative, senza imporre assolutamente alcuna nostra preferenza. Avete optato per una bottiglia di malvasia che tanto cattiva non doveva essere visto che poi ne avete ordinato una seconda uguale. Ed è per questo motivo che vi abbiamo sostituito solo il cestello del ghiaccio e non i bicchieri. Terminata la seconda bottiglia successivamente alla vostra richiesta di una bottiglia di bollicine, abbiamo elencato tutta la nostre proposte disponibili, consigliando una tipologia di metodo classico consona sia al vino che avevate bevuto in precedenza sia collegata al produttore di vitosvka che avevate ordinato in principio e terminata. Teniamo inoltre a precisare che quando ci avete ordinato in tarda serata delle tartine e non potendole servire visto che eravamo oramai fuori orario di apertura con tutte le atrezzature sanificate, vi abbiamo OFFERTO a compesazione un toast tagliato in più parti. Portando la bottiglia di metodo classico oltre a sostituire per la terza volta il secchiello del ghiaccio abbiamo sostituito anche i bicchieri, non comprendiamo pertanto il motivo delle sue affermazioni. La avvisiamo comunque fin da subito che se dovesse tornare in settimana e ordinare nuovamente la vitovska NON la troverà in quanto il fornitore sarà disponibile solo in settembre, ci auguriamo quindi che non sia la motivazione per una nuova recensione negativa.Cordiali saluti

A former cinema has been used for this franchise beer house and restaurant format with great results. Not only typical German style kitchen foods, very liked by locals, but a wide menu is served quick and well set up. Staff is present and careful. The most attractive element is in fact the location with its big brick arches and wide volumes that allow sounds and noises to remain under the level of disturbance. If you are looking for somewhere nice to unwind in an informal setting: this is it. A pleasant surprise hidden from sight. Food is simple but good, drinks are good, service slightly inefficient, but in a friendly and disarming manner.I can only imagine the inside seating in winter is super cozy and yes, I would go here back again.

Their Burgers are really delicious, and besides they offer other daily cooked food (jota, pasulj...) The beer seleciton is also good, try the local brewed four horsemen of the apocalypse beers (reservoir dogs brewery)

In the center of Nova Gorica, a lot of space for groups or couples. Nice atmosphere and (factory) design. Nice service, great burgers. Could add a bit more fries, which were also great.
