We are a small pub in front of hotel Habakuk with nice ambient and friendly service. Welcome are tourists, outdoor sportsmen and families, also with dogs. We can also prepare parties for up to 30 persons.
Went here for a meal. So cheap! Schnitzel was â¬5. The waiter I think was also the chef â so a bit busy.

We went there for a (late) breakfast, it is in the city centre, on the main square, with a lovely location, where you can enjoy a sunny day. Even if we were officially about 30 mins late for breakfast according to the menu, we were able to order it with no fuss. The club sandwich with fries was amazing - and extremely filling. The coffee was great as well - major plus! The prices were more than decent, for a meal that was more of a size of a lunch than a breakfast and coffee about 6 EUR. The menu had rich offer, so I will definitively return when in Maribor.

grilled meats, large menu, multilingual, on Drava River, large portions of excellent quality, very reasonable prices, friendly helpful service, Old Town center area
By the river Drava, few steps from Water tower, there is a cosy restaurant with great tasty Balcan food. Mekana rakija for beginning, then hot fresh lepinje to go well with cevapcici, vesalice, sudzukice and other meat specialities. Not cheap, but tasty.

On our stop in Maribor we took a coffee and lunch here. Good quality cappuccino. Lunch menu is divers and with local products, prices are good. Nice variety on drinks. Staff speaks English. We had the Caprese Burger and Tuna salad. Both very tasty. Point of attention burgermeat and sauce were both pretty salty. Salad was good but a bit undressed. Perfect spot to hang out during lunch, contemporary and different to the other touristic restaurants.

The restaurant offers traditional Slovenian dishes, flirting with Mediterranean cuisine, which emit a local Styrian touch and ingredients. The chef is turning Chef Daniel Satler with his team, which was perfected in the best restaurants in Slovenia and Au

Rozmarin restaurant opened its doors in 2006 in the capital of Styria â the city of Maribor, introducing a different, more cosmopolitan view of modern cuisine. Its name Rozmarin (rosemary) emphasizes Mediterranean, that is Italian, French, Spanish and, la
I did a quick stop for a burger. Service was quick and excellent, burger was not more than ok. I think other food is much better. Hello, Miha! Many thanks for your feedback! we`re sorry the burger didn`t convince you.The next time you are in Maribor, we would love to invite you over to Rožmarin restaurant also. It is literally in the same building as Steakhouse, only 20 meters away, downstairs. We believe you would like our Mediterranean cuisine. Excellent slow food restaurant, but reservations only (!). although rather new (opened in 2011?), it has already been named in the selection of best Slovenian restaurants.
There are restaurants and there are top restaurants, and the Mak is clearly running not for the no. 2 spot in Slovenia. Here you experience everything that goes with it, from a creative firework that lights like the bacon on the bread sticks you start with up to the wine cellar, the ceremonial, the multitude of courses that you will experience without leaving the restaurant feeling filled.David VraÄko is called the âRocker Chefâ, and he is special even compared to his colleagues which are a special type of mankind in general. The guests experience this with a much higher presence of him around the table, with an intensive dialogue and the feeling that the meal is completely directed by his intentions. Do not plan to finish an important multimillion dollar deal after the fifth course because he will focus all your intention on that specially selected piece of food that he found out yesterday could be prepared in an innovative new way you would not have imagined on your menu during your whole life. Not that this restaurant is all show. In the contrary, the service only supports the inspirations of the chef. But give them the air in your mind to develop and grow, and leave the daily business for the next morning.A chef to be followed. The 21st century has just started, and he is just starting to unfold.
