We dined here by recommendation from a local who had not tried it but had heard good reviews. We found the service to be attentive but the food to be average. We had 2 chicken dishes and a calzone. Both chicken dishes were dry and lacked fresh flavors. The rocket salad was good as was our 25 BP bottle of Chianti. We did not try a dessert.

Been here a few times and itâs such a good place for breakfast or lunch, reasonably priced and you can eat indoors or out. Had the Eggs Benedict this time and although they were nice, there was something odd about the hollandaise I couldnât put my finger on. It was oddly sweet and not as sharp as Iâd expect. I should have mentioned it at the time, so donât be put off.

3 of us turned up for dinner here on a snowy Saturday. The property is very beautiful, and we approached down well lit paths between beech hedges. The smell of a wood fire burning in the hall was welcoming. The Conservatory Restaurant was fairly full, the reception friendly. The menu is not too large, nicely varied and seems imaginative. Everything was well presented. The problem is that flavouring is seriously lacking. We mostly ordered different dishes, so I am not highlighting a problem with just one of them, but with the whole range. The chef needs a good lesson in the use of herbs, condiments and spices to make the food interesting to the palate, not just to the eye. Another reviewer has said that the wine is expensive. I disagree, though I am used to London prices. It is a good concise list, with wines for all pockets, many by the glass, and includes a lot of whites from Olivier Leflaive, one of my favourite producers in Burgundy. The cheapest, a Rully at £57, was excellent. True, others of his wines are more expensive here. A half bottle of Irroy champagne was excellent and seemed well priced. The bill was on a par with London, and in the circumstances seemed high for an average meal.Hello AlbertI must thank you for such a considered and constructive review of your visit to The Conservatory. We value your feedback enormously as we aim to provide the highest standards of service, comfort and enjoyment for our guests and we greatly appreciate you taking the time to let us know of the areas that need improvement. To that end, I will share your comments with our Executive Chef and, naturally, the whole kitchen team.I am however very pleased to hear that you are a fan of our wine list. We take great care in choosing our wines and hand select to create a varied and interesting list that will appeal to many a palate. Do say hello next time you visit with us, so that I can personally ensure your meal does indeed have the oomph that we didn't deliver on this occasion.Best wishesTamsyn

a Campagna aims to bring a vibrant, warm and welcoming dining experience. All our food is cooked to order using only fresh and seasonal ingredients. We offer Lunch menu, Traditional Sunday Roast on Sundays as well as our extensive a la carte selection. We
Lovely local restaurant, have eaten there a few times with friends & everyone has always had good meals. The service is always friendly & attentive, it is always busy & for good reason. Think over all value & portions good, have had the starter size risotto for main before. Extensive menu choice which normally makes me nervous about quality but between us we have had several dishes & all the starters & mains are fab, especially the risottos. But feel the desserts are disappointing (tiramsu is OK) after the choice & quality of other courses. Luckily always full after main but would love to have choice of really good home made Italian desserts.
We use fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. We are passionate about anything that can be put on the table. We offer a casual dining experience and serve the classics well.
I booked a table for 5 for lunch a week in advance. Please note - booked. When we turned up we were informed that the restaurant had taken an outside catering job that day and consequently because they didn't have their chefs they had cancelled the lunchtime menu and we would have to order from the breakfast menu. 2 of the party felt that this was unacceptable and left. The 3 of us made the best of it & ordered Haddock Omelette and an egg & spinach dish which I can't remember the title of. It then transpired that they were fresh out of Haddock & Spinach, so we had plain omelette & poached egg.for lunch. They shouldn't have taken the booking.Outrageous.Hi Nick,Iâm so sorry to hear that you didnât enjoy your experience with us. We have always tried to ensure we give our customers a high standard of service and food. We have catering events every weekend but there is always a chef in BIRCH when we serve food. We serve a breakfast/brunch menu on a Saturday as weâre incredibly busy and this ensures we can serve people quickly whilst maintaining our high standards. We were extremely busy on the day you visited and we unexpectedly ran out of a few of the menu items. I will message you independently in order to make sure your next visit to BIRCH is satisfactory.

The concept is that of Italian roots with French style refinement and original combination using only the best quality ingredients at all times. We want to offer the essence of Italy and nostalgia of our childhood with some playful interpretations along t
I visited Toniâs Kitchen for the first time this week after hearing raving reports on this fine Italian hot spot in the Cotswolds and it far exceeded my expectations. Booking to be advised as I understand people are beginning to travel from other counties to experience what this place has to offer. With a warm, welcoming and intimate interior, the knowledgable and attentive front of house staff showered us with the best of Italian hospitality. The ever changing menu was peppered full of a variety of dishes to suit every palette and dietary requirement. I struggled to choose between the dishes on offer - each one sounding staggeringly good. Toniâs Kitchen proudly displays a sign above the kitchen door - âour happy placeâ and how fitting. The head chef and owner Jason Orsi is clearly more than a chef- he is an artist at work. Everything on the menu is all made freshly in house, from ravioli to ice cream, created from a palette of ingredients and condiments that are responsibly and carefully sourced for their quality, sustainability and taste. Not forgetting younger guests- children are welcomed and can choose from the main menu too; a whole family dining experience- typical of the welcoming and inclusive culture that sets Italy apart. The garden is also worth a mention - plenty of outdoor dining space that is trailing with edibles growing from every corner which I am told is used on the restaurant menu - Jerusalem artichokes form a windbreak and an attractive screen and appears on the menu in a gratin and Nasturtiums brighten borders as well as the humous appetiser that is jewelled with pomegranate and accompanied by fresh in-house baked loaves. I can honestly say that I ate the best meal of my life in Toniâs Kitchen and will be returning very soon. My advice to anyone who is visiting anywhere near the Cotswolds is to visit this charming little piece of Italy and for those who follow the finest, keep your eye on this place. We left feeling more than satiated and were taken on a memorable culinary and cultural journey.

An evening at Wilder begins at 7.30pm when we open our doors: relax with a pre-dinner drink and allow us look after you. At 8pm Chef Matthew Beardshall creates and serves a perfectly balanced eight course tasting menu, plenty of surprises along the way an
The food is exquisite, flavour combinations that work in perfect harmony. Little explosions of seeds, herbs, oils, purées, jusâs that make every mouthful pure pleasure. The chef seriously knows what he is doing matching ingredients in an unusual way, my tastebuds were in heaven! The quality of the produce was clearly extremely high. Beef melted in the mouth, the duck was devine, smoked salmon was cleverly flavoured, but the vegetables were just as good, they tasted like their flavours were enhanced due to clever cooking techniques. Our wine flight was fantastic, perfect matches for each dish. Very knowledgeable staff, who took pride in the dishes/wine. A special place, this restaurant created the perfect atmosphere for a special occasion or relaxed gathering. Will definitely go again!

Along with some friends we stayed at the apartments in the Egypt Mill complex. From the moment we arrived to when we left after a delicious breakfast, we could not fault a thing. Staff were so friendly. Apartment was stunning. Surroundings were beautiful. Can not recommend highly enough. Go. Stay. Enjoy.

Authentic family run Italian restaurant serving fresh homemade Italian food. What makes this restaurant special is the variety of different Italian dishes and the very friendly service.
Lovely welcoming restaurant with a nice varied menu and excellent service. A couple more menu choices on the starters and desserts might have been nice, but otherwise faultless. We were running late and they were so nice about it!
