Our lunch here was the "best ever"! We were pleasantly surprised and loved the family - Mama prepares the food and it is delicious and her sons/the servers, are professional, fun and knowledgeable! This family made our dining experience in Strasbourg memorable and one of the best meals on our trip!

Tucked away behind the Auschan is this tasty casual Syrian restaurant. If you enter into the shopping plaza where Aushan's entrance is, then continue out the back, you'll see a courtyard with several restaurants including Habibi. There is outdoor seating, a few tables on the ground floor, and more tables upstairs. The staff is very friendly and speaks English. I ate the Moukabilat, which is a great way to sample a variety of items, including a savory empanada-like pastry stuffed with cheese, another stuffed with spinach, and some of the best falaffel I've tried. Lots of friend stuff, but not greasy at all. My spouse enjoyed the kofte. There were nice looking small desserts in a case by the cash register, but I was too full to try them. Overall, I was very happy dining here and will return again while I'm in Strasbourg.

We went for 2 nights on a row! lovely cous-cous and the tagine was just amazing.Very clean, big portions, not too expensive. The only thing that I did not like is that the second day we were going to order a tagine to share and the owner made us order something else (we had a lovely salad). There was way too much food!
