The Inn of the Bridge of Zorn is settled in a potter's former alsatian house dating 1717, lined by the eponymic river.Today, this establishment held by Myriam and Hervé Debeer joins in a spirit 100 % Winstub.Side cooks, the menu puts in the honor great cl
I was introduced to this restaurant by a friend who has been going here for years. I was amazed at the quality and creativity of the food. The chef has managed to keep the best of traditional food and add his own signature style so that's it's fresh and unique. I am a frequent patron of high end restaurants in Strasbourg (for work) and have been disappointed that the tastes are so similar. This is definitely not the case at the Auberge, and the ambiance is fantastic. The owner is warm, interesting and has lots of stories to tell about the restaurant which has been in her family for generations. My favorite restaurant by far.

Found this restaurant by chance one night while driving through Alsace, heading to Germany. What a lucky find. The menu was really interesting, with lots of local delicacies (horse!) included. They didn't have a childrens menu as such, but were more than happy to accomodate our 4 year old by doing half-portions. An excellent waiting on staff did a superb job, especially as our over-tired child did his best impression of the grumpiest, sulkiest child in the world! The staff were incredibly patient and helpful with him. (even when he spilt his apple juice all over the floor, they took in in their stride with a smile!) The beef steak I ordered was cooked to perfection, and the addition of a local salad as a side was extremely tasty. My other half declared her Caesar salad the best she'd ever had. A lollipop for the child for the remainder of our car journey that night was a nice touch too - excellent customer service. My only complaint - it was one of the hottest nights of the summer and we requested to sit at the outdoor terrace (it looked beautiful) but it was off limits. No reason was given as to why (possibly a private function - who knows) and we were directed inside to a very warm and stuffy restaurant. The menu, the staff, the food, all excellent - just could have done with sitting outside - or at least been given a reason as to why not!

Best meal we've had in a long time. For 29⬠I had an octopus salad, duck breast & a pavlova that was out of this world! A must!

Situated in the middle of the countryside, 10 minutes from Strasbourg, Philippe finds his inspiration in the poetry of the environment and offers a gourmand card complemented with a fine choice of wine.
We have eaten here once before but this time it seemed so much better. The interiors have had a revamp. The menu is considered and would meet most peoples tastes. We both had the deer which just melted and accompanying purees were just correct and balanced the meal well. The puddings were a delight having to wait for them to be freshly cooked was a privilege. The wine list was extensively French with a good regional selection. The service was professional and friendly.Thank you very very match.

This would be my favorite restaurant in La Wantzenau.Having dined several times whilst on business trips over the past 5 years it never fails to delight. With a group of nine we enduldged with the fresh oyster platter. Freshly shucked by the pirate looking chef they were of outstanding quality. For main we continued with a combination of fish. Always a delight and an experience that always delivers. I will be back.

The restaurant looks good from the outside, has an extensive parking place and is tastefully decorated. Staff is formal, to the point of being stiff, but working hard and efficiently. There were only minor mistakes that didn't really matter much. The sommelier is an impressive pro. He was able to come up with just the right "mariages" according to my taste, not his.The chef is only mildly given to experiments (e.g. a béarnaise with a large dollop of mustard.) He/she likes subtle, somewhat sweetish tastes. On the whole, that made for easy eating. However, I am adamant that, when serving kidney, the renal pelvis and calyxes should be removed in the kitchen or at the table, not by the guest. I am not interested in how sharp the kitchen knives are, I want to concentrate on the food. Similarly, I saw guests struggle with quail and lamb chops. It killed the conversation at a table for a large business group.None of this could spoil the evening, but the bill did. It is to be expected to spend â¬100 a person in a superb restaurant, but for this level, that amount is significantly too much.

According to many this is the best pizza in Strasbourg or rather in the Strasbourg area as the restaurant is locate at a 20 minutes drive from the Strasbourg city center. We had pizzas: thin, crispy base and perfectly cooked. Prices are moderate to high: we paid 40 euros each for pizza and drinks.

restaurant réputé dans la région strasbourgeoise, excellente adresse connue des fonctionnaires européens de passage à Strasbourg
Intimate and laid back atmosphere, excellent service, and fine food. It could probably be eligible for a Michelin note; in the meantime, it is reasonably priced. Warmly recommended. Advance booking highly advisable, since tables are very few.
