Yet again, Oysters stepped up to the mark and delivered a faultless dining experience. Our party of 13, including our new 5 Mt old baby grandson, were catered for by Kevin and Steven expertly from start to finish.
We opted for the Special event menu, and I would just like to show the diversity in or food, and I'm sorry for not doing the menu presentation better justice but which was absolutely delicious. Starters consisted of: Goats cheese, garlic mushrooms, Soup of the day and salmon.
There was a choice of 4 mains: Turkey & Ham, Beef and Pan fried hake, were our decisions, and again we were not disappointed, all served expertly and tasting so well. Apple & damson crumble, Strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake, panna cotta, coffee and tea, finished off our meal.
I feel I'm repeating myself, but this restaurant has to one of the best if not thee best restaurant in the N West and 10 adults left here yesterday with a return visit certainly on the their "to do" list in the very near future for sure. Well done again Oysters!!

Open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, Caffe Fresco combines the inviting warmth of an established coffee house with the ambiance of traditional bistro dining at its premises in Strabane.
Cafe Fresco is convenient and accessible with parking outside. It is good for casual dining especially in the early part of the day. Service is efficient and friendly and being able to bring your own wine is a big plus for evening meals. Evening meals are hit and miss.
One big downer for my vegetarian daughter was that there was no hot veggie option at lunchtime.

Enjoyed dinner here with 3 friends recently. 4 starters, 4 main courses and a bottle of wine...all for 55pound. Beautiful, well presented food. Served by friendly staff. Quiet for a Friday night. But I hope to eat here again.

my wife and myself have paid a visit to the hotel for lunch on 2 occasions, the staff were more than helpful, very friendly gave us advice on the menu, on both occasions we took the special, it was excellent, plenty on the plate well presented and served with a smile, we will call for lunch once per week here as we pass it on our travels, the price was very good value for money ,i would recommend this eatery to anybody

Quick friendly service. Mum had the soup. Really good thick broth with wheaten bread. Dad and I had scones. Treacle was delish!! Daughter had toastie and chips. Shared a fifteen and Bakewell bun. Really fresh delicious food. Very busy and not many tables downstairs. Have never been upstairs. Well worth the trip. Will definitely be back.

I've ate a few times now in Ali's Steak House when travelling home from work in Derry and each time I was treated to a great feed.
I'd highly recommend their burgers and their chips are exactly how I love them, so top marks there.
The staff are always very friendly and happy to help in any way.
I hate to add any negatives, but when last there with the family both my wife and I ordered the freshly battered Cod. Unfortunately we both noticed a funny taste off the fish and couldn't eat it.
When we brought it to the attention of the staff, they called the owner to talk to us. I was sort of prepared for a confrontation, which is why I rarely complain, but he couldn't have been any nicer about it. He said he was going to discuss the problem with his suppliers and then he wouldn't accept any payment for what we did eat.
Its customer care like this that will keep people like me continually returning and as I mentioned previously, I was well impressed with the food each other time I visited, so a once-off issue won't put me off.
There are loads of restaurants out there that should take note from Ali's on how a customer should be treated!

My husband had the chilie beef ciabatta which came with potato salad and fries . I had vegetable soup and wheaten bread both were very good and prices very reasonable . Service was also good

I can't fault the food, but I'm afraid the service wasn't great. Our starter wasn't taken away before we'd finished, wine (unopened) and cutlery just dumped on the table, had to wait ages for mains and then ask twice for the bill. It didn't seem too busy so can't really explain this. Will probably just do a takeaway in future.
