Stopped in for a bite for brunch. Coffee was really good and exactly what we asked for. Not made from a machine. Had a toasted sandwich for lunch really nice and tasty without the cheese overload. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Country style breakfast restaurant serving locally produced food at reasonable prices. Menu features items such as Biscuits & Gravy made with homemade sausage and biscuits, Acai Bowls, along with traditional breakfast fare.
An absolutely great breakfast. The hospitality and service is perfect. The ambiance is simple and rustic as a ski area restaurant should be. The hostess told me that the hef was the best that she had ever worked with and he is only 26 years old. I'm not going to argue with her. My wife's poached eggs were done to perfection and my biscuits and gravy were amazing. The biscuits, oh my those biscuits. Have I mentioned the biscuits.

located in historic Stowe village. Serving seafood, steaks, burgers and homemade desserts. Dinner nightly. Experience a local favorite in a cozy atmosphere. Patio dining on Main Street available in summer months
Reservations are highly recommended for this gem of a restaurant. Cozy, comfortable, warm atmosphere. Not very big restaurant, but very good quality. The caprese salad and Caesar salad sides were tasty and delicious. Steak tips cooked perfectly, and a nice tender cut of beef. Warm bread and fresh butter rounded out a great evening.

Stowe is that cute quintessential Vermont town but recently you can find more in the way of fresh and creative food inspired by sources outside of the region. Plate is only 5 years old but seems to have established a place for its self and a following. The room is simple and contemporary with a bar and an open kitchen featuring four seats right on the counter looking into the prep area. This is a great place to sit and watch your meal being prepared. The bar is fully stocked and includes several of the local craft beers that this area is famous for. The food has a decidedly more “California” flavor though. There are a couple good options for the vegetarian or vegan. Try “The Plate” Veggie Burger with Aoli and Marmalade onions. It com s with a choice of side so try the Pan Fried Fingerling Potatos. There is also a Curry Roasted Cauliflower Steak , Celery Root Bisque and Heat of Palm Vegan Crab Cakes. For the omnivore there are the Cider Grilled Chiken or the Gulf of Main Monkfish. Everything we had was wonderfully prepared and was hard to find fault with. Add to that a well curated wine list and this is a place you should definitely try if you are in Stowe.

We sat at the bar and the bartenders were friendly with great knowledge of the wide selection of beer. The food was amazing, highly recommend the chips and dip and the tacos, the carrots seemed odd but it was a delightful dish. The calamari was sautéed, not fried, it was unique and delicious. Extremely low prices for such great food and relaxed atmosphere.

Stopped in here for lunch on the advice of locals...and was very happily surprised! Wonderful local beer selection enhanced the flavors of a really great pizza.
I had the Pablo Pesto and the Insalata Mista...both were wonderfully flavored. Thin crust, great spices with light sauce were terrific, and the salad was lightly dressed and delicious.
For “dessert”, we had Garlic Knots...literal “twist” on garlic bread...filled with cheese, basil and wonderful garlic.

Very good food. We had the cold seafood tower to start, pork chop and elk. Kids had the children’s buffet in the kids room.
Kids buffet is set up in a room by itself and kids can eat in bean bags in there.
Restaurant is casual, and noisy with good food and good staff.
