We decided to try this local spot off-season. It has “no reservation”
dining. It was happily crowded and lively - with friendly greetings and encouraging words to “get a drink and sit on the porch or wherever you like!” We chatted with other patrons and loved looking at the hallway nautical prints and artwork.
We received a text that our table was ready. Our waitress was polite, perky and efficient. Our lobster bisque arrived quickly and we enjoyed it as well as our choices for dinner: sea scallops and salmon entrees. Both were perfect in presentation and taste.
Our drinks were refilled - we had no room for dessert - but they looked yummy.
We are keeping our boat in this adjacent boatyard - so we will be back!
Do try this waterside watering hole- but don’t come if you are watching the clock- it is most enjoyable when you can take in the atmosphere and local friendly chatting that enhances your visit!

Conveniently located less than a mile from downtown Mystic, this quaint Mediterranean Grill has charm and ambiance, outdoor seating, and on site parking. Authentic, fresh, home-style cooking & all natural ingredients.
We had Mixed Mezza platter, veggie kibbeh and spinach pies - all very good. On prior occasions we have had the LaLa chicken, which is marinated for 2 days in buttermilk and also very good. The pickles and aioli sauce that come with are addictive. Friendly staff, nice cozy local restaurant. Worth the detour if you're driving by.

Sift Bake Shop is a French focussed bakery offering artisanal breads, breakfast pastries, savory items, and speciality pastries. Sift also offers catering opportunities, and a signature cake menu. All items are baked fresh daily, and from scratch in our exhibition kitchen.
Girls weekend away We like to try out local places. This place was amazing! We had a hard time deciding, we wanted everything! Breakfast sandwiches were on buttery, flakey croissants with the freshest ingredients. Almond croissant was better than words can describe. We got cookies to take with us, peanut butter cookie was recommended and it didn't disappoint. Everyone who worked there was so helpful and friendly, especially Alana who was so patient with us having a hard time making choices and steered us to that peanut butter cookie.

I met a friend for breakfast at the Cooked Goose this week and had one of the best breakfast meals I have had in a long time. Delicious fresh food prepared beautifully!
We talked for two hours and were not rushed, the coffee kept coming and it was a very nice experience. The best eggs Benedict that I have ever had.

Visited with my two small children. Asked to use the restroom and was informed I needed to buy something first. When I explained I did not want to bring my food in the restroom nor leave my children alone in the lobby with their food while I used the restroom the employee still refused to allow me access without a purchase. Clearly the management needs to rethink this policy. I left immediately to find another dunkin donuts a mile away that happily allowed us to use the restroom before making a $10 purchase. I live locally and will never visit this location again.

An adorable little restaurant in the Stonington borough with great breakfast. We both got the blueberry pancakes and they were excellent! Not only were the virtually the size of hub caps, but they were fairly priced as well, a nice surprise. Will be back!

Cozy. American/Continental Cuisine. Elegance for the casual diner. Located in Mystic, Ct just off Interstate 95. Away from the downtown traffic and parking hassles.
We dined at Franks as we like the owner the atmosphere but more important the Food. The pistachio fried Goat cheese is to die for and the Scallop dishes were outstanding. We own a Lodging place in the Mystic area and try as many restaurants in order to feel comfortable in our recommendations to our guests and I must say to you the reader as well as any guests who stay with us, Franks is a sure and must try and will not disappoint the most savvy diner. The menu has it all and if your lucky and the Boss is there you’ll be greeted and asked how’d you enjoyed your meal. A proud owner and a culinary leader in our area. Thanks again for another delectable meal.

Was here for lunch, tried a special that was a salad with pumpkin and goat cheese near Halloween, it was so good I returned alone the following week for another equally good salad. Had a cupcake from bakery as well on one visit, and it too was delicious. I have dinned here in their old location and had some of their wonderful grilled cheese sandwiches, new location is much larger, hence more comfortable place to dine, but seems like it is open shorter hours.

Dine-in and takeout service since 1986 offering pizza, pasta, grinders, salads, fresh seafood, Greek food, gyros as well as beer and wine.
We've enjoyed every meal we've had at Stonington Pizza where we've been going for years. Last night's was the best ever! One of the specials was a flounder dish and it was absolutely delicious! The lovely waitress spoke about the new chef, Steven, and his creations. In my case it was the flounder on beautifully flavored rice with vegetables from the farmer's market surrounding it. I wish I'd taken notes so I could be more specific about how it was created but I just know I will have it every time it is on the menu from now on!
