Discover Restaurants offering the best Chinese food in Yarm, Stockton-on-Tees, England. Yarm is a small town in North Yorkshire, England. The town is on the south bank of the River Tees and is historically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire. The bridge at Yarm marked the furthest reach of tidal flow up the River Tees until the opening, in 1995, of the Tees Barrage, which now regulates river flow above Stockton. As the last bridge on the river before the sea, it was superseded by a new toll bridge opened in Stockton in 1771. The oldest part of the town, around the High Street, is situated in a loop of the river, and the newer parts of the town extend to the point where the River Leven meets the River Tees.

Very disappointed in our visit. We chose the restaurant based on reviews but our meal was served on cold plates and the food was lukewarm. The beef extremely gristle and both meals bland. Would not recommend at all and we visit alot of Chinese restaurants. Disapointing all roubd
We have been using this takeaway for more than 10 years. The menu is quite extensive and the staff are always helpful and friendly. We sometimes use the delivery option which is always on time.We made a telephone order for collection early evening on a Tuesday. We ordered Sati chicken skewers starter, sliced beef in black bean source and fried rice as a main course to share. The food was ready in 10 minutes as promised. It was delicious and still piping hot when we ate it at home. The black-bean source is nice and spicy as highlighted by a chilli pepper icon on the menu. The meat was well cooked and succulent. Onions and green peppers not too soft and not too hard, just right. The food is very much to our liking and we will continue to use them. The weekend is particularly busy, always a good sign, so I recommend that you order by phone first. Also there is an Aldi next door to pick up drinks etc before your order is ready.
Got takeaway with friends on Saturday night. Never been before but having had recent average Chinese takeaways thought we would give it a try. A range of food was ordered for delivery, reasonably priced, plenty of it, prompt delivery. And it tasted delicious! I personally loved the chicken chow mien which had a more than usual amount of chicken in. Delicious. My new fave Chinese takeaway.
