No.4 Dine and Wine opened in 2005 and has gone from strength to strength with a huge amount of regular customers from Didsbury and surrounding areas.Still owned and managed by Paul & Nina Burton who take part in the day to day running of the restaurant wi
A meal for seven friends here was a delight. The service was friendly but professional, and the ambience of the low-ceilinged intimate dining room made it feel more like you were eating in someone's home than in commercial establishment. Dishes were nicely presented and well executed and the emphasis on seasonal produce was clear, although several of us felt that there was a lack of seasoning -a bit more salt would have made the dishes 'sing'. There was also a distinct lack of carbohydrate: a tiny square of dauphinoise potato was the sum of it. This did mean we all had room for the delicious desserts, with the sticky toffee pudding matching the accolade at the Lime Tree last year as 'joint best ever'. This was a lovely meal, and I'd be more than happy to return -if only to work my was through the amazing dessert selection.

Peruga at woodheys A beautiful restaurant and venue with mind blowing views of rolling hills set within a rural/urban environment. Perfect for lunch or your wedding!
Had a lovely lunch, well cooked and good menu choices, gorgeous restaurant views Friendly and attentive waitress. Enhjoyed the meal but the restaurant was chilly, could have done with more heating on. I suppose we could have asked for another table away from the windows!

It's only small, with about 8 tables. 8 of us are together. Menu is good quite extensive and we had a mixture of paninis and tapas between us. One option was 3 tapas plates for £7 which included soup!?! Which was OK but a bit bland. Used to go a lot, but menu looks similar to before. Would call again for coffee and snacks but at mo some better options nearby.

The Wycliffe Hotel and Restaurant is, and always has been, a family owned and operated business. Founded by Umberto Tavini in the late 1980's, the Wycliffe Hotel and Restaurant has built up its reputation for being one of Stockport's most sought-after ven
We were invited to partake here after a funeral. Although a buffet it was manned by a lovely waitress and the tea and coffee was brought round by a waiter, it was lovely to be addressed as Signora instead of Madam Everything was clean and homely and nothing was too much trouble. Only one thing let it down. There were steps everywhere and it was a bit difficulty but not impossible for me as I am disabled. How a wheelchair user would go on I an not sure.

We called in to Leonardo's for a bite to eat and were pleasantly suprised. It's a cosy little cafe / restaurant in a tucked away area just up the steps on Underbank. Very authentic and the food was all freshly prepared and cooked. There were Italian people eating and chatting in there at the time and the atmosphere was very welcoming.

Visited on a Friday evening and it was very busy, glad I had phoned to reserve a table. The Early Bird menu was good value at £13.95 for two courses, with lots to choose from. You can upgrade to more expensive dishes with a supplement. Impressed that this offer is available until 8pm on a Friday. Food was served piping hot and portions were big. After two courses we didnât have room for dessert! Service was good too. Would definitely visit again.

Visited for 1st time as part of a larger group that was split and occupied 2 tables. Everyones food looked decent and everyone was happy. Mt food was good. The service was good. Drinks seemed just a little pricey. There was no disappointment at all - it just seemed that the effort is in maintaining a consistent standard - and for me there was nothing that was a "stand out" item for this place.I shall go back with much less people - and look again at the menu - and see if I've missed something. Even if it is just a standard place, the price and consistency of quality are reason enough to visit, and this is the only reason I've rated it as average..
