The Oak Tree Inn consists of accommodation in rooms above the inn and in a series of on-site cottages. There is also a restaurant and bar, coffee shop & ice cream parlour and village shop. The Oak Tree is in Balmaha, a beautiful loch side village in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.
Stayed here for one night while walking The West Highland Way. The staff were very welcoming, the room was very comfortable and the service and food in the restaurant was very good. Highly recommended - we'll be back!

This contemporary Inn offers beautiful, rustic accommodation, a new wave fish restaurant and stunning lounge. The eat-in/take-away restaurant uses only the best of local produce. An impressive bar stocks quality local real ales and over 200 malts selected from the top whiskey regions in Scotland. Set back on the main A82, three miles north of Luss, the Inn is a perfect place to stop for food, drink or a relaxing overnight stay.
Stayed here for 3 nights in the Beach House. Room - Beautiful room, bath tub with a great view of Ben Lomond. Clean and tidy room with lovely fresh decor and facilities. Only thing I would suggest is a curtain or blind for the large window to stop the light coming in when asleep. Restaurant and pub - Great friendly service went above and beyond. The food was brilliant and a good variety of choices. Bar had a great selection of drinks and brilliant entertainment. Had such a good stay, I will definitely be back.

Making our first visit to Scotland, Loch Lomond and was looking to stay somewhere just for 1 x night. We looked online at is was getting late and we came across Queen of the Loch. They had one room left, only £75. We had food in the restaurant which was great and booked for the breakfast, again this was also great food. The Inn and the accommodation was very clean, staff were very helpful. A great find. You can walk to Loch Shores which have Sea Life visiting Centre, shops and great views of the Loch from the beach area. 5 mins walk from the Inn. Highly recomnend this place!!!

Stuart Wilson extends a warm, friendly welcome to all guests, whether you are in Stirling for business or pleasure. Ravenswood is a Victorian House which has been modernised and now offers bed and breakfast in comfortable surroundings. The Guest House is located close to the city centre/train station (5 minute car/bus journey or 15 / 20 minute walk).
Stuart is an excellent host. He has a great knowledge of the area and lots of good tips. He communicated promptly and was extremely accommodating. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the food delicious. Be sure to have the brown bread - Stuart makes it himself. We had an upstairs room at the front of the house and didn't notice the road noise. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked this hotel for one night by looking at photos of the nice dining room and the fact it was refurbished There was a fan unit on the roof outside our window which made a noise like a 747 the whole night The toilet also kept filling itself up,so you constantly heard water dripping The walls were so thin you could hear people in other rooms and when they flushed their toilet or turned on the water Very poor room loads of cobwebs on ceiling The bathroom was quite new but the bath was very high and you had to climb in for a shower Despite having a shower mat bath was very slippy and there was no handrail Tv didn’t work, there was two remotes and a guide how to work it in the guest information if it didn’t work..which it didn’t you were to phone reception We liked the look of the dining room so booked dinner and had already chosen what to eat from the menu We asked for the seafood pie..I had been looking forward to it all day The waiter came back, sorry no seafood pie, then told us no seafood platter or hake A problem which their supplier We then asked for two chicken duos He came back, sorry we don’t have this We decided to eat elsewhere Came back to the hotel bar Two bacardis and coke Sorry no Bacardi Problem with our supplier What can I say The bed was very comfortable, just as well as we were awake most of the night Breakfast was nice

Hotel is in a great location and could be fantastic but is very tired. Our stay was OK, not so bad we had to complain but dont book expecting too much. We booked a better loch view room which was worth it. Nice size and well equiped although bits of wear that you would not expect in a well managed hotel. We had evening meal x2 in restuarant/conservatory which was a nice light space but service was indiferrent. As to meal quality you would get better at Weatherspoons. We were not expecting fine dining but plenty of pubs deliver a better menu better cooked and better served. I'm sympathetic to hospitality sector that is recovering post covid but this was a disappointment. Just a little improvement would really lift the experience

The Old Rectory Country Inn “Comfortable rooms. Great Food. And a warm welcome” A Family business started 12 years ago saw a building - formally The Church Rectory - go through a much needed transformation and over the years has built up a reputation based on quality. The atmosphere of the inn is informal, as it should be, and friendly with a good core of regular custom both for food and drink. Gray’s Scottish Restaurant at The Old Rectory is named after a past owner” Reverend Alan Gray”, and is brought right up to date by Tim and Jane Warbrick, Tim being The Reverend Grays Grandson.
