We have take away pizza every couple of months and have just changed to making Hugo's our regular. They opened a year or so ago and make great pizzas, served with a smile.

Sourdough pizza + drinks + good times. Stop in for sourdough pizzas, craft beers and wine anytime from 11am. Coffee window open from 6am 7 days.
Went on a very wet and windy Saturday night, and the restaurant was booked full. Staff went out of their way to make it a pleasant evening, despite torrential rain coming through the screening. Great choice of different pizzas to what you normally expect, reasonably priced drinks and to die for apple crumble pizza for dessert if you have the room!Shame about all the negative reviews, as this is a great place to come to for a casual get together, with friends and family, and nice to have somewhere local to go to.We have also stopped here for coffees during the day, and when the sun is out, its a nice spot to sit at.

a very basic and small pizza for $21 . I ordered a supreme and it was sort of like an under cooked supermarket pizza but with more filling . Certainly better options out there . Maybe I picked the wrong day ......... still no value for money in such a competitive market .

Will never go back Arrogant waitresses not friendly at all !! Had prawns which I donât think were Australian prawns and had my first ever food reaction in my life ,, the cocktails are Not cocktails they are just spirits with a mixer ,, what a long journey for a waste of time !!Hi jayr658,Thank you for taking your time to write us a review. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your experience here at Woodpeckers. We are disappointed that you have decided to leave us your complaints here, despite our efforts to accommodate your requests - basically customising a pasta of your own with cream, chilli and seafood, the waitress was also going back from the table to kitchen multiple times to make sure that the chef would be okay to make an exception and cook a dish that was not on the menu, checking with your table a few times throughout the evening and asked if things were enjoyable; yet we did not manage to get any feedback that could help us get things fixed on the spot for you.Cocktails that you've ordered, Tennessee Mule and Sex on the beach, were both made by the bar manager with over 10 years experience with our popular recipe using juices, liquors, vodka, ginger beer. Could you please let us know what else were you hoping to have included in the cocktails? We look forward to your response.Regards,The Woodpeckers Team
Had dinner at this place the night before New Years Eve, the place was busy but the staff were really attentive and welcoming.I had the rib fillet and I have to say it was one of the best steaks I have ever had, a good size, great flavour, cooked just right and really tender; the sides were nice, chips and coleslaw.Good choice of beers on tap and bottles. The rest of the group all enjoyed their meals and commented we will all come back again.

Had takeaway pizzas from Uncle Gino's a few times. On this occasion I had the gourmet vegetarian, which was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced.

Indian Ocean Hotel Bar & Bistro- for a friendly and casual dining experience with an exceptionally delicious menu, serving up high quality food prepared by passionate and experienced chefs. Whether you are looking for a venue to have a social drink with f
The Indi bar , average when it was built and even less than average today as nothing has changed in 50 years, ok if your into that sort of thing . Staff are generally rude and too cool for school type of kids. If your an international traveller I can almost guarantee disappointment with this place. Save your time and money and go elsewhere , absolute kip Thank you for taking your time and leaving the feedback. I am sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your time at Indian Ocean Hotel and Indi Bar (I understand that you stayed at the hotel too). The hotel was built in 70's and we had some refurbishment done since the opening. We are just finishing to replace the windows in all the rooms. There are double glazed and sound proof. Our low prices reflect the fact that the hotel is older looking. We keep the hotel and bar clean and tidy. I am sorry to hear that you disagree with it. I would like to ensure that we don't employ any kids. The atmosphere at Indi Bar is relaxed, but our staff always stay professional and they are always happy to help. Once again, I am sorry hear your personal opinion about our staff members. It would be great if you could contact me directly and give me more details about your bad experience at Indian Ocean Hotel and Indi Bar. My contact email is [email protected] Kind regards,Hanna Cydejko

We were there a few night ago and were so disappointed. I ordered a Chicken Schnitzel and Chips. From my experience, whenever I ordered this meal in other places it is usually served with a very small salad. I wish i'd taken a photo of this meal. It had a minuscule amount of tomato sauce covered with the same amount of cheese. There was no punch in the flavour and the chicken was very dry possibly overcooked. More sauce would have been a blessing seeing the chicken was so dry. The Gnocchi was also very disappointing you could feel the grains of flour in your mouth. I could not have eaten that meal. Presentation was dull. I won't be returning to this one.

Have been here so many times and never reviewed it, shame on me so thought I should now. This place is just one of those old faithfuls where you just want an enjoyable tasty Italian meal with good service that never fails.Itâs not fancy as far as decor or lighting and can get noisy sometimes but the food is always always good. I can never go past the spaghetti marinara, have never a better one. Seafood fresh, tomato base is authentic, thick and yum with freshly made pasta, what more could you ask for seriously?! Well you can have Parmesan too. The tasting plate is excellent too, with great bread, olives, feta, squid (to die for), pan fried chorizo and prosciutto hmm.The only dish I wouldnât recommend is the Caesar salad, I like anchovies and the full deal so itâs a bit lacking.Anyways we keep coming back and itâs always reliable

Last minute Sunday lunch option with the family and we were not disappointed! Treated to uninterrupted ocean views in a modern setting, attended to by a largely Italian staff who are very attentive. It was great to see this place packed out, for a big area it draws a big crowd and once the food comes out itâs easy to see why. We saw many plates of antipasto come out and watched enviously as others around us enjoyed our initial rush to order our mains meant we overlooked what looks to be a very genius serving of mixed meats, will definitely be back for this! We all ordered pasta the seafood, crab and beef they were all cooked to al dente and packed with flavour and lots of sauce! Delicious! Kitchen was pumping out all sorts of treats and some amazing looking pizzas were coming from the giant wood fired oven! No tiramisu on the dessert menu but the semi Freddo was well received and tasted just like a Ferror rocher! The chocolate mousse was a big serving but was less mousse texture and more solid so a little disappointing. We have had breakfast here before and after lunch today we will definitely be back to try the pizzas and antipasto plate maybe at sunset!
