Bakery
Of the different baked goods that I have tried at this bakery none have disappointed me. While the prices are high the quality is excellent. I often go in to look through their section of day-old bread to get discounts and still eat delicious baked goods. Just about anything that’s related to moose can be found in his bakery for sale. From aprons to T-shirts; if there’s a moose on it this bakery has it.

This has to be the best pizza we have had since we left the Chicago area. Done to perfection with a thin crust that was excellent Ingredients were fresh with a wonderful taste. I don't give many 5 star ratings out of over 250 reviews but Magpye's deserves it !

Senior ponchos has always been a great Mexican restaurant. Seating was limited to a very small space but recently they have expanded their area and doubled their seating. They are still in the process of the remodel and expansion but that has not slowed down or affected the amount of food they put out every day or the quality of their fare.
Make sure you stop by the new senior ponchos in Soldotna and tell Poncho hello.

Loved the chicken almond sandwich at Odie's Deli. The sandwich was HUGE - two of us could not finish one sandwich! Bread was super fresh! Highly recommend Odie's Deli!

We stopped for lunch and had the BLT and french dip sandwiches. The French dip melts in your mouth. The BLT had lots of bacon cook to order. The service was great and the restaurant has an old-time cozy feeling.

Some friends took me there for breakfast and what a great spot. I've driven by it many times and didn't even notice it. It's a small building next to a kayak rental store.
I had a great breakfast fried eggs were actually the best I've had. The whites were so tender not rubbery like I normally get and ham was slice of real ham, not off a loaf. Generous portion not huge but filled me up and some left over. Friendly personal service. Clean surroundings in a cozy place.

At St. Elias Brewing Company, we believe in handcrafting innovative, high quality, world class beers. Our beers match the personality of our business, fun and lively, yet historic and eclectic. Brewing on a 7 barrel brewhouse, we promise our product will arrive fresh in your glass, as beer was intended. Why should your beer travel across the country to your glass, when you can get one fresh from across the room?
It has been over two years since I ate here. I stopped going partially because of how loud it was. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had installed sound dampeners on the ceiling and it was much easier to have a conversation. The food is great. They provide a good assortment of pizzas and salads. The sweet Alaska salad is great but was disappointed at how drenched the salad leaves were in the dressing. We also tried a Mexican salad and it was disappointing. The salad leaves were overflowing the plate and the dressing was so thick you had to dip it out of the ramekin to get any. Usually we go for the pizzas and haven’t been too disappointed with those. They also have great beer and root beer.

New place opened a short time ago and we just stopped by recently for the first time. Great BBQ brisket sandwich with several optional sides; everything home made. Nice menu with several different lunch or sandwich dinner options. The people remind me of the old Alaskan welcoming you used to get 40+ years ago wherever you stopped along any Alaskan highway. Definitely will stop here again even if it's only to hear some stories from the locals.

The breakfast burritos are great. They remind me of the kind you would find in Arizona or at restaurants like Betos or Filibertos however perhaps not quite as large. Very delicious though. There are also some great pastries there in the convenience store. Awesome food in a hidden gem on the Kenai Peninsula.
If you're on your way towards Soldotna, Kenai or Homer, make sure to take the time to grab a bite to eat at this little cafe. You won't be disappointed.
Local flare with some great people and friendly demeanors.
