Reviews on Spanish food in Santos, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Although it's also the location of the Latin America's largest seaport, Santos isn't just a boring port town. The city of 420,000, just 75 kilometers from São Paulo, features a seven-kilometer stretch of beach divided into just as many social cliques as you'd find on Ipanema. A verdant promenade separates the beach from the seafront condos and hotels, along which families and friends walk, amble, bike, skate, rollerblade, throw frisbees, you name it. Less sandy points of interest include the Museu do Café Brasileiro (Brazilian Coffee Museum), the Aquário Municipal (City Aquarium), the Orquidário Municipal (City Orchid Garden) and the Neo-Gothic Santos Cathedral.

Each portion can be shared by 4, 5 or 6 people, the prices are not the cheapest (around 200-300 reais each portion) but if you divided by 5 then it is not so expensive. The Fish and the Paella are very very good, the restaurant is very simple. We were there in 2 couples and couldn't finish it!!!

Here is a place that I can actually eat as the Mexican food is not spicy at all (unless you ask). Everything prepared by the owner of the restaurant and he takes pride in everything that he brings to your table. It means that every single plate is delicious. The drinks that he prepares are also a treat and you will not find anything like in that area. In other words, it is a lovely place to go with friends and family. We had a great time and I have nothing but compliments to the owner for the quality of "everything" including his hospitality and charisma.

We ordered frango a passarinho( chicharrones de pollo, something like fried chicken) it came with french fries, white rice and farofa. Reccomend it. Muito bom. Tem bons preços. Recomendo!!

Whenever I go to Santos, I have to stop by this place and have lunch, since they are not open for dinner. I usually order the white tuna, or Meca, with an oriental sauce or named Thai sauce, which is a thick soy sauce with some sweet and sour flavor. Anyway, the sangria, a type of drink made with wine, pineaple is on the house and the banana with passion fruit syrup as well. You may spend about 20-25 dollars per person, it's worth it. Service is friendly and good. Paquito, the owner is always there, serving and checking if the customers are being well assisted.
