Criciuma, a medium-sized town loccated in the extreme South of Santa Catarina State has only few places to choose when restaurants are considered. Varandas is a well known place loccated right at the center of the town where people often go for lunch during working hours and spend some time in after hours mainly because it does have a wide sellection of wine to offer.

Tive uma experiencia muito bacana neste restaurante: Quando cheguei não tinha mais feijão e eu não queria comer arroz puro, quando vi as opções de massa, tinha apenas com molhos que não gosto, quando fui devolver o prato vazio uma atendente veio conversar comigo, então eu expliquei o que aconteceu e ela pediu na cozinha que preparassem para mim um macarrão ao alho e óleo que prepararam bem rapidinho, e essa atenção especial fez toda a diferença. Além disso, as outras opções no buffet eram saborosas, além da carne que era muito macia e de qualidade.
