Lunch is buffet style, although ordering a la carte is possible. My wife and I had lunch from the buffet, which left a lot to be desired. The salad bar was fair, certainly nothing special, but offered some variety. When we asked for a glass of wine, we found out that it was available only by the bottle (for lunch???). There was a variety of rice, beans, pasta available on the buffet, but meat dishes were few and not very well prepared. The dessert buffet offered a fruit salad, a banana pudding, and "chocolate mousse" which we sampled. It was sickly sweet and filled with some kind of crunchy stuff - neither of us managed more than a spoonful. In all fairness, we did not order from the menu so cannot comment on their meals prepared to order. But my advice is - for lunch, take a pass.

Probably this is the best in the German City of Joinville. They also serve German food.
The downside: it's crowded and the cuisine is same old thing every day. Menu never changes. I've eaten there for 16 years and there's been little innovation. Plus, it used to be very affordable but now it's quite pricey. The upside: huge parking lot, friendly staff, tasty cuisine, different dishes catering to all tastes, even vegetarians, practical self-service buffet.

IT is a nice bar serving local and typically German food. I had the saussages trio with chucrute and surprinsingly even the chucrute was very good. The pils bier from "Zeit" is served fresh from the tap and brewed around the corner. Nice outdoor wooden terrasse, nice bar, good inner deco, small quite tables and large ones for groups. Would go back anytime.

This place is so good! I had the best Angus steak and meat I can remember. The meats were fine, all good and tender, but the angus was just amazing. The place is good, they never stop offering you meat, it might be too much sometimes. The salad bar is also really good, everything fresh! super nice. If you can, go there. the papaya dessert, is also so good.

There is a lot of options here. However, the tip is that you can set the flavor of your 'pastel'. There are also appetizers, sandwiches and special sandwiches (if you are really hungry). I recommend the regular one, called "pao caseiro com bife acebolado" (homemade bread with steak and fried onions). To drink order "caldo de cana". Enjoy!!!

This town is interesting compared to other cities as it has very old German and Italian communities. This restaurant is not a normal Brazilian BBQ but more like a meat focused restaurant. We had a mix plate for 3 which had sausage, and 2 types of beef which you top with a special pulverized vegetable similar to yucca called Farofa Poial, made of cassava. To be honest the one cut of the beef was wonderful, the other was good and the sausage was just ok. In any case this place is very much worth of a visit.

A different place to go in Joinville for meat lovers. The service is completely different from the traditional "all you can eat" places where the meats are served in barbecue sticks.Chicken, beef (two kinds), side dishes (rice, french fries, salad, potato salad and other goodies) are served on your table in plates. As you are done with it, you can order others. The price is fixed, regardless of how many times you reorder the plates. The meat is excellent. Nice quality. Friendly atmosphere and the staff are always in a good mood to serve you properly.
