The lunch buffet at Excalibur is better in terms of choice and taste, location and seating arrangements than many similar por kilos. You can add barbecue from the Churrascaria and finish with your choice of sweet desserts and a cafezinho. Reasonable prices. Tends to be busy at lunchtime. Recommended.

Don't miss!Excellent option for a light dinner after a busy day.The soups are great, prepared by the chef (Andre) a few meters from you.The "caldo verde" with sausage and shaved provolone is the best!!!!The owner's wife is the server. Courteous, professional and going the extra mile to please the customers.Small list of wine but has a great Chilean carmenere for a low price.Not fancy at all, but if you visit Nova Friburgo try it.

Here is a place for a quick lunch or dinner for a family reunion, a business meeting or a couple.Great food with a vast variety of vegetables, meat, fishes, rices, salads, fruits and dessert. Ask for the "bite acebolado" (steak with onions) you're going to love it! Good service... BTW... A third party parking service is available.

Definitely a family restaurant with great food, good service and fair price. The "Picanha" in particular is always served to perfection as well as the cassava rolls, "vinaigrette", french fries , the fried bananas and off course the "farofa" a side dish made of toasted cassava and special herbs. The staff is always ready and with a smile!

The food is really delicious. The prices are ok. The service could be better.If you like trouts here is the perfect place to eat them. The menu is very vast with many options.The service really could be better. Being sympathetic is not enough when you're slow and can't handle all tables, even with a not full restaurant.

One of my favourite restaurants in Nova Friburgo. Very cosy, only 5 tables inside, 3 or 4 on the veranda which is inside glass.The menu is carried and the prices are not too expensive for the excellent quality of the food. I can't criticize anything about this restaurant. Well worth a visit.

It was a big surprise for me and my friends. We had had a nice weekend in the region with some friends. One of them, that knows very well the region, suggested this restaurant to have a late lunch there in that raining sunday. In spite of not been unanimity, we decided to try it. We had arrived there at 5 pm and the owners received us with a big smile and a special food. It was amazing. Believe me, there is happiness without meat. They proved. I had lunch there with my wife. Great selection of meats salads fish even Japanese food all for less than R$.40.00 (US$.12.00!). This was in 2016 so maybe the price has gone up a little but I am sure it will still be excellent value. Don't go there if you are on a strict diet
