The Suprema has long been a good performer, but they are continuing to improve their facility and their menu. On a recent trip there for dinner on a Friday night, they had added half a dozen shrimp based offerings and two fish items. These combined for an even better experience than before.

Every time we go to Curitiba, we never miss having lunch here. If you like fish, then this is the right place. Nice atmosphere, good service, and very good food. We are so used to this place, that we don't even ask for the menu, as we already have our top favorite food: as a starter you have to try the Espetinhos de camarão (breaded shrimp with cheese), or a Casquinha de Siri (crab in a shell). Our main dish is always the same: Peixe a milanesa na crosta de manjericao (breaded fish with basil), which can be easily shared by two persons. Prices are also very reasonable for the good quality of food you get. The only negative side is that the parking lot is normally crowded.

I went into this restaurant with my girlfriend for an occasional dinner for two and the night became special.Everything is either positive or amazing about this place. The service and the fresh food are reason enough to remember this place. Don't skip to the main dish, the entrées also deserve a special place in your heart. Try the "Alheira", a Portuguese sausage. The tuna with palm heart fettuccine is going to live in your memory, delicious.Along with that, if you are a wine person, try Luis Cañas, a light, honest priced red wine that will make you feel like you are walking on feathers along with the magnificent food.

The restaurant is very charming - located in a house built 1870 in a quiet residential area. Food and wines are delicious and there is a room for about 30 people upstairs.

My wife and I came to Coco Bambu for a late lunch after arriving in the city on a Saturday afternoon. We were having trouble finding a place that was still open at half past three, and this was still open. We'd been staying in rural Brazil for over a month and wanted to treat ourselves to some good food, and this place did not disappoint. We got some Italian style calamari, which had an incredible, flavorful sauce, and we got a mixed rice dish which had lobster tail, shrimp, calamari, local fish, and mussels in it. The diversity in the rice dish was amazing, and the rice was very flavorful. The lobster tail was the highlight. Overall, the whole meal, with water and a couple ten real fees for live music, was just around 80 USD, which is incredible for how much high quality food we got. I tried my best to eat as much of the rice dish as possible, which they said was for two people, but it wasn't possible to even make a big dent in it.There was also live music playing a mix of English and some Portuguese songs while we were there. This place is obviously very well managed and maintained, as the atmosphere of the restaurant was great, our server was professional, despite not speaking any English. I speak a small amount of Portuguese and the menus are bilingual, so it was not a problem. The music was also not too loud, allowing my wife and I to chat but still enjoy the music, which is a very difficult balance to maintain.Overall, this place really deserves its place as a great, high quality seafood joint here in Curitiba. I would gladly recommend it to anyone.
