Conveniently located, La Gondola is a great option for Italian food in Londrina. Cleanly decorated and elegant, yet not sumptuous, the place has a really nice atmosphere. The menu is wide. To start up a nice buffet with cold and hot Italian specilties - from cold cuts and cheeses thru grilled zucchini and sardella - served on weight. My pasta, yet the sauce wasn't that creamy, as should be, but slightly watery, was wonderful and served in a generous portion. Service is corteous and very promt and waiters are always readily available when needed. Wine list gathers a nice selection of average and superior Argentineans and Chileans, among others, however over priced, yet not outrageously. Be careful, though, about the wine service - as the wine I ordered was soldout, I was offered another one, from the same brand, but of an upper level, which costed me 60% more. In this case the correct and expected attitude will be either offering the guest something at the same price level or bring the guest the wine list back.

Que Joia! What a pleasant experience. Smallish restaurant in a quiet neighborhood. Ambience was quite pleasant and the food was complemented with some very nice Brazilian jazz (recorded) The menu is Italian with a few extras. The spring rolls were a surprise The pasta was fresh and served al dente. It was a nice sized side dish to the grilled chicken. The chicken tasted delicious and was succulent. Not over cooked as is common these days I had some mushroom sauce with it and the combination was really pleasant. A small bonus: I was interested in something that was a light protein, a small pasta and not too elaborate. It was exactly what I had visualized and it was delicious. It was recommended by a local friend and surpassed expectation. Give it a try!

This upscale restaurant it's a very good option for vegetarians, not that they have a great number of options but the few they have will please our vegetarian taste. Very good salads with fresh vegetables and great cheese and some lovely pasta. The service it's fast, didn't take 15 minutes for us to have our salad and pasta served .The staff it's very helpful and polite, the environment it's cozy and comfortable for a business meeting. There is a good wine list, including some house selection with more economic offer.

Da Licenca is a local and traditional chain with eight adresses. This one at Rua Joao Candido is central and offers a per kilo buffet at lunch every day and at dinner on weekdays. Other addresses: malls Catuai, Royal and Boulevard. Alameda Miguel Blasi 41
I visited the restaurant in Rua Prof. João Cândido for dinner. The food was good, the price very honest, also for the drinks. I would recommend it for an informal dinner. On the other hand next day I was at the Dá Licença restaurant in the Catuaà shopping center both for lunch and dinner. At lunch it was more or less ok, although the choice was quite restriced. At dinner the food was mostly the leftovers from lunch.
