Well, this new Pizza restaurant is coming from Fortaleza with a lot of publicity... We went to try it and I must say that the pizza was really good. BUT..... The service was extremely aggressive, trying to sell a bigger pizza, special drinks, deserts, coffee. Quite aggressive! Another huge problem is that the wine menu is VERY bad. I ordered a glass of wine and received some strange acid beverag, which has only some very far relation with what could be considered as wine... I ended drinking water. So, I would recommand to eat your pizza with water, putting some headphones on to be isolated from the aggressive commercial atitudes....

When you are in the Northeast of Brazil, meals are usually fish, fish, fish. So I decided to try this restaurant as an option to get off the fish diet.We had the meat ravioli (which was tasteless), fetucine with fresh tomato sauce (tasteless) and fetucine with butter and basil (decent). At the end of our meal we conlcuded we should have stuck to fish and seafood. We also had the bruschetta as an appetizer (which was average at best).The wine list is small, but has some good options. The only problem is that they do not have a climatized cellar, which makes a huge difference in a city as hot as João Pessoa. They showed up with a chilled red wine (and by chilled I mean as if it were a white wine) which we did not accept.The restaurant is charming and does fill up but I only recommend this if you are fed up with eating seafood and local cusine. If not, it´s not worth the visit, the pasta is nothing special, anyone can whip up recipes like this in 5 minutes.

This restaurant is fairly new and revealed all the chronic failings of a restaurant which is not sufficiently prepared for its customers. We went on a Friday evening and had to wait outside for around 40 minutes along with a growing queue of people for a table. There was no drinks service outside to soften the long wait and space for about six people to sit. Once inside, we had to wait again for more than 40 minutes for our order to be served. The acustics in the part of the restaurant in which we were seated were appalling. It was difficult to hear what our friends at the same table were saying. The food when it arrived was reasonable but the long wait had already soured my good will. The waiters were pleasant but did not dominate the technology used for ordering the food so that took for ever. All in all it was not an experience which I want to repeat.Dear Timothy,Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you did not have a pleasant experience with us. As you have mentioned, we started our activities a few days when you came and many things were not aligned as we wanted. The drinks were not served outside because we were very busy inside, trying to serve as soon as possible to get the customers inside. The acoustic project is already done and we are just waiting to install it. Once more, we are sorry to disappoint you and if possible, come back to see that we have certainly improved, as this is our daily goal.Many thanks,TDO Team.

Small pizza was large enough to fill me and I'm not a small guy and the beer was cold too. The dinner room was large and clean and the wait staff were friendly and they had menus in English.

Eating at the Divina Italia is always a special occasion especially for us. The restaurant itself is simple but sophisticated and elegant and the service good. I confess that we nearly always eat the same dish which is magnificent - the prawn risotto with mango. The fresh warm bread as a starter is delicious and we finished with a slice of Belgian chocolate gateaux which was perfect. I think the wine list is a bit small and expensive although there are one of two decent cheaper wines. I recommend the Malbec. All in all it was as good as the last time we ate there which is always an important consideration.

The place has its attractiveness - easy going, on Cabo Branco magnificent sea promenade, wide choice, open air; but after all one comes here to eat, and that's were the good things stop - at least what I tried. I had burgers from two different trucks, one was better than the other, but both are better forgotten - greasy and salty.

The restaurant has a nice decor, trying to recall the typical ambiance of a Tuscan "osteria". I had the antipasti buffet. Some of them are quite nice, I would recommend "lonza" among the cold cuts, carpaccio, asparagus and he tblue cheese (pretending with little success to be a gorgonzola, but quite nice anyway). The big letdown came with my main dish, that is, caprese. I may understand that decent mozzarella seems to be unavailable in Brazil, still the dry, tasteless cheese was one of the worst I ever had in Brazil. Then, why include grilled zucchini? A quick consultation of any Italian recipe book would have revealed that the only ingredients of caprese are mozzarella, tomatoes and basil leaves. Moreover, most likely due to the presence of recently grilled zucchini, the tomatoes were warm. In summary, a complete failure. On the bright side, tiramisù (a modern interpretation of it, with no visible biscuits, and served in a glass) was quite nice. Decent caipirinha for R$9.90, and a total bill of R$132, largely disproportionate to the quality offered. Service was ok, although after being assured that my friend's risotto ai funghi was vegerian, it turned out to contain bacon.

We wanted a fine dining experience (30th wedding anniversary) and selected this restaurant based upon the Tripadvisor ratings. While we were able to order from a menu, it quickly became obvious that almost everyone there was eating pizza, served by waiters offering various types on a continuing basis. However we ordered what we wanted, all seafood. The first problem was we requested wine that we were told was not available for four different wines!!! FOUR!!! Finally we settled for the best of what was available. The meals were well presented although they took a long time to arrive (obviously the priority went to the pizzas). The fish ala meuniere was quite good, but as experienced elsewhere in this city the shellfish were overcooked.
