The beach is really nice, specially for kids because of the natural swimming pools. the restaurant offers you a comfortable way to scape from the sun and offers a good local food.

Fantastic location right on the beach in Itacimirim. Excellent variety of local fare. Great value. Nice amenities (fresh water shower). Always packed in high season, but a great place to enjoy the beach, people watch and have a great meal. Highly recommended!

Fiquei com vontade de experimentar os outros pratos também. O local é simples mas o tempero é gostoso e o preço é bem em conta. recomendado

Well organized restaurant, with seats/parasol on the beach. They have a PIN (MasterCard etc).We bought 2 drinks, to have a parasol, table and chairs but it turned out the restaurant was quite expensive. A 'walking barman' offered us 2 drinks for the price we bought 1 drink of, at Restaurant Colo. We can't compare, since we didn't buy his drinks. After a spontaneous rainshower, we were allowed to use the bathroom to change our clothes, even after a couple of hours on the beach.

The best muqueca that I have ever had! Absolutely tasty! The one that I tried was Muqueca sertaneja made of banana, local cheese(coalho) and shrimps. The restaurant is quite simple but it is in front of the sea. And it is the place that the local people always go!Thanks for visiting and for rating! The satisfaction of our customers is very important to us, come back always!

Moqueca is a kind of seafood stew cooked in a Brazil Northeastern style. The place is simple and very clean though. Food is plenty and tasteful. If you are in Camacari ( a petrochemical complex) do not miss this restaurant. It is worthwhile dropping by there.

Went there twice during the new-year's holiday, and, at the first time, we couldn't understand the line standing out of the restaurant when we left, by 1pm, since we've eaten a just okay, pricey and really unimpressive fried fish. That interrogation fade away when we came back the next day and tried the shrimp moqueca (it's a typical bahian seafood stew with coconut milk and palm oil). It's been a long time since we've eaten a moqueca as good as Donana's. The shrimp itself was as fresh as it could be; the temperature, perfect; the colour, beautiful. There are other great bahian restaurants around Salvador's metropolitan area, but Donana Villas certainly ranks among the top 5. Once there, go straight to the moqueca and avoid the fried fish.

Great for a Sunday lunch with family and friends after the beach. Food is good. You can have family style dishes or individual plates. Very nice side dishes. Great value.

The restaurant is placed on the beach in beautiful Guarajuba near Praia Do Forte. They serve good fish and meat dishes but especially their mouqueca dishes are well known. The prices are a bit high and the portions rather small, but the taste is always very good. We got a fish and prawn moqueca this time and enjoyed it together with very cold beers.
