The West Main Street Market has a nice selection of homemade soups, salads and sandwiches. The pumpkin soup was excellent. The dining area is small but was homey,

This is a convenient place to stop for lunch as you drive down Skyline Drive. The food is okay but nothing special. I had a soup and half sandwich combo, and the soup was good, the sandwich somewhat sloppily assembled. The others in our group all had meals that were neither special nor bad, just sort of average.
The food is a little more expensive here than in places outside the park, but that's to be expected given the location.
The service was undistinguished; again, not bad, but not special either.

Now open at our new location!! We offer a unique dining experience: serving breakfast, gourmet sandwiches, soups and salads with a full-service espresso bar, homemade pastries and pies in a relaxing atmosphere. Wine and beer - on and off. Open 7 days a week.
This is the best breakfast/lunch place in Luray - and its open year round. Everything is homemade and are all your favorites but with enough of a flair to make it there own. The bakery makes some wonderful desserts. They have a full coffee bar and can give you everything from their own roast to a cappuccino. While breakfast is basic and not fancy, the place is very clean, with good service and the food is well done. I look forward to each visit. Dinner is next (which I’ve never done) and I will write about that!

New York Style pizza with an Itallian theme. We Deliver in the afternoon until close.
A group of five. Two ordered pizza, one a salad and two subs. Everyone happy with the food. Service attentive and quick and very reasonable prices.

although the servers are excellent, fast and friendly, accommodating, the food is good, there is way too much - enough on the plate for two or three people - for a park that is so conscious of conservation, this is wasteful. Breakfast, not so good, dinner food good, but pricey - they should make portions and prices smaller.

Our first time to Mimslyn, but not really much to do in town. We hung around until dinner, which didn't go so well. We both ordered drinks, then dinner. Waited for a bit, when the waiter came over and shoved the menu in my face and advised they were out of Trout, which was my husbands order not mine, he had gone to restroom. The waiter stood there looking at me as if I was supposed to make a decision. When my husband came back, he still stood there for what seemed like an immediate answer, it all became quite uncomfortable. My husband and I ended up in a tiff, and we left the establishment to cool off. When we came back we were told our food had been put in the garbage! They then still expected us to pay! Why wouldn't they put it in a to go box? We were in the Inn, therefore could not have gone too far. We were told the food was 'ruined' , don't people get things to go all the time? Every restaurant I have been to they offer to go boxes. Never tasted the food, drove home, did not stay at the Inn.

The service was friendly,. The place was clean and the Steak and Cheese was very good along with the onion rings. I wouldn't mind trying their pizza and maybe I will before I leave town.
