The food is excellent, the service prompt and the atmosphere very pleasant are upscale. At lunch, there is a menu with select items and 3 courses. I recommend the pork loin, but also the crab cakes looked delicious. I may try that next time.

This restaurant has everything needed to be 5 out of 5 but:
Location, Facilities and Food:
Located in Stafford, TX in a modern outside mall. It is safe, clean with an attractive décor, and it is large inside and has ample outside seating as well. There is also banquet facilities. The food is very good and the portions are probably “too” much. The price (considering the large portions and quality of the food) is OK.
A Chain Restaurant:
There are 38 Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchens. 30 are in Texas, and the rest spread through the South and Southwest with 1 in Illinois. They seem to be the P.F. Chang’s of Cajun cuisine. They are large (boxy and noisy). It is good that we were there on a slower weekday evening or it may have been difficult to hear ourselves talk like at P. F. Chang’s.
I did a TripAdvisor sampling of the comments on 7 locations with some 700 - 1100 reviews per location and all averaged 4.5 bullets out of 5 bullets. So the patrons seem to accept the noise and its slower service because you get a lot of good food (not great but good).
Give me a smaller venue where I can have a chat with friends over an wonderful meal and that is perfect. But to each his own.
So in summary for a better review Pappadeauxs needs to be a smaller venue (like the size of a Chili’s), serving smaller meal portions (so they can focus on better food for a lesser cost) and more prompt service. Then they would get 5 of 5 from me.
Of course it is hard to argue with success, and they seem very successful.
PS: Their bread tasted just like my mother’s biscuits which would make go back.

Wife was running a half marathon the next morning so we stayed the night in town, decided to eat here as it was light. Very casual place, a bit noisy but not overly so. Lots of good appetizers on the menu, very good happy hour ($5 sake bombs, $3 drafts, most apps in the $5-7 range). Service was really good. The salmon taquitos were excellent.

Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse (formerly Tradicao Brazilian Steakhouse) was founded on the mission to continue the traditional grilling method originating in the "pampas" of Rio Grande de Sul, Brazil. Like at a typical churrascaria, we include a coaster with a red side and a green side. The green side signals our gauchos (meat servers) that you are now ready to sample the 14 succulent meats, including lamb, beef, chicken, and fish. Enjoy our gourmet salad bar stocked with more than 30 fresh items. As an accent to the meal, we also provide five, delicious side dishes. Cap off your meal with our wide selection of wine, spirits, and beers. We suggest a caipirinha or Xingu, a Brazilian black beer. We invite you to come join us, sit back, and relax. Let our family serve your family!
Wow... is what I will begin to say. We have lived in this area for some years now and hadn't bothered to go by and try Tradicao... as we were used to going in town for other similar restaurants. No other reason that that. However, that was a mistake.. we should have stopped in here long ago! It's hands down FANTASTIC! Service is impecable, from entry, to seating, to dining... top to bottom. All the waitstaff is super helpful, and eager to help. You drink is always full, you aren't in need of anything. Staff is respectful, and nothing is out of their way. They thank you and are a pleasure to them. They asked us what we were celebrating and when we said my birthday, they created a pretty birthday desert for me. The food was outstandingly delicious! Wow.. the shrimp is #1!!!!! And the lamb chops not far behind. The salad bar is plentiful and has lots of great choices.
Needless to say,.. we will not longer travel in town to dine at a similar venue, when this hidden gem has been at our fingertips for the last 6 years. This is our spot from now on for some fine Brazilian yumminess!
Good job Tradicao! We are hooked.

This is a small movie theater. This is a great place for a date because it is never crowded. No long lines.

Food is expensive, but very good to excellent. Pretty upscale place, but no dress code was in evidence. My wife and I usually split our dishes, and so we did here. Salad and steak were really good. They have a very nice wine selection, but since we live 2 1/2 hours away, we drink iced tea, which is also very good. There is a close by FREE parking garage if you do not like to use their valet parking. Service is first class, as is the whole restaurant. Clean, spiffy restrooms, as well.

Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen is a family of full-service Mexican restaurants in the Houston area. All restaurants serve the highest quality Mexican food, offer a full bar and are open daily Sunday through Saturday for lunch and dinner. The Gringo’s brand identity is stamped with superior quality products combined with excellent value.
We have visited the Gringos in Pearland which has always been wonderful. Great service and food there. The Gringos in Stafford was a huge disappointment. Slow service and food was mediocre. The décor was a total miss match. We visited there twice within a week's time. One of our group wanted to use a MasterCard Gift Card to pay for part of the meal. The manager said they were only able to accept 80% of the card value. We still don't understand what that was all about. Definitely not customer oriented. Will not go there again.

Jupiter has some good pizza. Not the best I've ever had, but definitely above average. The thing that sets them apart is their... strange... topping options. Figs, over easy eggs, blueberry compote... just to name a few that I can remember. All-in-all though, the flavors on their pre-selected pizzas are well-assembled and taste great!
Only minor complaint about the place is that it could use some sound baffling or something. The barren concrete floors and minimal wall or ceiling obstructions make for a noisy, somewhat unwelcoming atmosphere. As long as you can look past that, you'll probably enjoy the food!

Whenever I come to Houston, I love going to Sweet Tomatoes. It is a real salad bar! I would camp out there if they would let me! Helpful hint... Save room for the potato and rosemary soup. I wanted two bowls but ran out of room. Two thumbs up!
