Set above the Great St Lucia Lake, Lidiko lodge is a 4* lodge, centrally situated in the village of St Lucia, surrounded by the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park (iSimangaliso Wetland Park), an UNESCO natural World Heritage Site. Lidiko Lodge offers 16 well-appointed air conditioned en-suite garden rooms decorated in a contemporary Afro-Colonial style. All rooms offer a private patio and lead onto the pool area or bird filled gardens. Free wi-fi is available in all the communal areas.

The Lodge's name "Ingwenya" derives from the Zulu word for crocodile. It was quite logical to choose a name for our lodge indigenous to Zululand, in this first world heritage site of South Africa. Ingwenya Lodge is situated on the "outskirts" of the residential area of St Lucia, nestled in the heart of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. The property borders the nature reserve with a view of both the sea and the estuary, a very unique privilege in St Lucia.

Umlilo Lodge is a 4 star guest house situated in the small village of St Lucia, the only private village in the world to be completely surrounded by a World Heritage Site. We offer 13 comfortable en-suite guests rooms in our tropical treehouse like lodge with a Smart TV and Netflix. Guests can choose to laze on the wooden deck by the pool, make use of our free WiFi or relax in our bar lounge with an honesty bar and full Digital Satellite Television (DSTV) which is surrounded by a fishpond. In the evenings guests can choose to enjoy Dinner at Umlilo Lodge ( on request) or wander into town to sample our local restaurants. You are spoiled for choice from 07:30 until 09:30 when we serve a healthy and delicious English and continental breakfast, which also includes fresh fruit, assorted yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses, cereal and much more.
