Reviews on Fast Food food in Basseterre, St. Kitts, Caribbean. Nestled between the Caribbean and lush mountains, Basseterre has a long history of colonial struggle that is reflected in its architecture and cultural monuments. The National Museum, St. George's Anglican Church, the Circus area and Independence Square all give glimpses to the city's past. But most travelers do not come to Basseterre for history; they come for the beaches, resorts and marinas, offering ample snorkeling, windsurfing, diving, sunbathing and golfing opportunities.

When visiting an island such as St. Kitts, you never know quite where to eat. You'll find a lot of the same fare at many places; lobster, jerk chicken, wings, burgers, etc... Shawarma King is in an area where some food trucks gather. I love food trucks!! When we arrived back at my friends apartment, we ordered, it was delivered, and was most delicious. My pita was overstuffed with chicken that had a tasty seasoning and sauce. Stop by and get an order to take with you to the beach :)
Tiny Umbrella delivers the best Kittitian experience in town. With our convenient location, Tiny Umbrella offers a welcoming staff and relaxed atmosphere.
It was ok but nothing special to write home about. I would not return as you can find better food on the island
I generally prefer ice cream over gelato , well no ice cream at the port . I tried the pistachio gelato and really loved it . They also have a few bakery treats but I did not try them , they looked good . There is plenty of outdoor seating in this food court .
Where to eat Seafood food in Basseterre: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Good fast food and lots of drink choices. Easy reach if ou are on cruise ship. Like everywhere where the sun is blazing down, wear hats, sun block and seak shade if you cannot sit in direct sun. In the evenings, maybe you should were insect repellant to be on the safe side.
If you want some real local food, you can go to this Food Court. It is made up of about 8 different vendors in Shipping Containers made into stationary Food Trucks. There Is Jerk, Indian, Ribs, Pizza, Fish, Chicken. Each Truck seems to have different food every day and run out of some foods every day. It is a short walk from the Cruise ship pier and about a 20 minute walk from Bird Rock Beach Hotel where we were staying.
