Isn’t it romantic? The Caribbean island of St. Croix is practically the backdrop of a Hollywood love story. White sand beaches and lush rainforests set the scene for tropical bliss. Take in the historic small town charm of Christiansted and Frederiksted, sip your way through a spirited tour of the Cruzan Rum Distillery or explore the ruins of a sugar plantation. And the diving…oh, the diving. Think shipwrecks, think vibrant ocean life, think endless underwater possibilities.

My husband and I enjoy eating at this local restaurant when we visit St. Croix. You get a large plate of food for your money. The restaurant is average space , however the wait is minimal. If you visit St. Croix and drive down town Christiansted, please stop and eat her before leaving the island. The staff are professional and friendly. Feel free to ask questions about the local cuisine. I recommend their fish and fungi/ polenta. Harvey's is and island favorite and a fav for the tourist.

Our reservation was lost and not sure whose fault it was but the owner tried to make it up to us. The food was very good but the steak was a bit over-cooked and the staff is a bit pretentious. Don't think there's a better place to eat in Christenstead.

This restaurant is always one of our go to when we are in Frederickstead. All of us order something different and no one has ever been dissapointed. Their stew goat or stew anything, is the very best around for certain. We love the owners and are so happy to see them annually. Servers are also great and very attentive. I would advise Reservations as they get swamped on the weekends.

Turtles has the best sandwiches. Whenever we visit STX, Turtles is a must stop during the trip. The sandwiches and bread are freshly made and we often get two meals out of them as they are very thick. It is a place we look forward to going to every trip!

My husband and I stopped in while doing a self-guided walking tour of Christiansted. I had a banana, strawberry smoothie and he had a mango smoothie. Both were delicious and the perfect refreshment on such a hot and humid day. The service was quick and friendly. We sat inside and enjoyed the AC while we sipped our drinks. Definitely recommend a visit to this place!

A waterfront neighborhood cafe in downtown Frederiksted serving breakfast and lunch 6 days a week...
St Croix is open! Go visit! This is a must-stop place for quality food at decent prices. Everything we had was tasty and the service is top notch. Near the pier with great views of the water.Thank you for the awesome review and for reminding everyone know to come back to St Croix. Yes, we are still cleaning up, but the water is as beautiful as ever and many of the Beaches are back. Come back to see us.

very popular with the locals and gaining popularity with the tourists. they don't have their own website, but the link I provided above shows its listing.
Had the half chicken which came with two piping hot Johnnycakes. The food was outstanding! I generally only eat wings but I ate the entire half chicken. Can’t beat the price, $7.00. There’s always a line but you can understand why. This is a must visit place while on the island.

My husband and I stumbled upon Cafe Fresco on our first day in Christiansted. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts. I had the special, spinach and feta quiche which was very good and my husband had the "hot teri" breakfast Sandwich which he said was Awesome! It came with Dr D's hot sauce which was a perfect mix of sweet and hot and the bacon was thick and perfectly prepared.
This is not fast food but that's ok because you get to enjoy a super quaint courtyard while sipping some very good coffee. We will definitely be back.

When we want to take a lovely drive overlooking the North Shore, have quiet ambiance, excellent service & great food on a Sunday afternoon following church we go to Rowdy Joe’s. Their full menu is back! They have fun appetizers, “comfort food” soups, delicious entrees and scrumptious desserts so plenty of options to choose from. We chose Teriyaki Edemame to start, 2 bowls of Clam Chowder soup to share, three wing specials, Lamb Empanadas and a basket of fries for the table! Brad, our very attentive waiter, even got my husband and I to order Rum Raisen Bread Pudding with whip cream which made it all the home! It made for a perfect afternoon lunch date!

As one approaches the 1729 House, the tan one across from Fort Christiansvaern Park, the Galangal sign, made from wine corks by a patron, is hardly visible from the street. Opening the aubergine door is almost magical as one steps inside an elegant white-table dinning room filled with original paintings, and Indo-Colonial architectural elements. Sitting down at the cool, dry granite bar, one just knows their Martini is going to be ice cold and the red wine will be at 65 degrees. Galangal specializes in authentic modern Thai and French cuisine, combining traditional ingredients with international flavors and techniques. Freshness is the key to Galangal's bold flavors and consistent quality. Spices from Vietnam and Singapore, curry pastes from Bangkok and unusual Asian vegetables grown in Galngal's own Gardens, give Galangal's dishes their unique and authentic flavors. Even the soup is made a la minute. Little know fact, Galangal, probably has the best NY strip and pommes frites on island. Dinner 5:30 - 9:30. Closed Sunday and Monday
We had a large table of 9 on a Saturday night. The food and service were wonderful. I highly recommend.Dear Jane: We appreciate your support and taking time to share your positive experience with our TA community. We hope to see you again soon.
