What a pleasant surprise to find this little restaurant with fabulous food, wine and impeccable service. The wines they have are normally not found in liquor stores. The menu changed two weeks ago And itâs difficult to describe but we had the fish special and the surf and turf which were amazing. Definitely a dining experience. Not for someone that is a plain potato, meat person. Parking on the side of the restaurant. I would recommend you make reservations at is it is a very small restaurant and is quite busy.

A fun restaurant in St. Augustine Beach, FL. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Check out our Raw Bar. Hours are seasonal depending on demand. Kitchen Hours 6 AM till approximately 10:30 PM during the summer. Live Music Nightly. Half
Ate here twice during our recent "Hurricane Dorian" beach trip. As always, the food was very good. The ambiance of the restaurant leaves something to be desired, but we eat here every time we come to St. Augustine and are never disappointed. This time I tried the cocoanut shrimp and was pleasantly pleased. Usually I just get the regular fried shrimp. Nice change.

We went with another couple. This restaurant is down the street from us. Our meals were delicious. One member of our party said his dish could have used a little more spice. The room has all hard surfaces so there is has nothing to quell all the noise from the patrons. I have food sensitivities, so when I asked to omit the spices and herbs from my meal of scallops, linguine and broccoli rabe, they charged me an up-charge of $10.00. The waitress did not let us know about this before hand. So if you go. donât deviate from what is on the menu.

We had dinner here on Monday night & it was slammed! The waitress said Mondays are usually slow but this time it was terribly busy. Service did not falter tho, our waitress was on it & very attentive. Their menu has quite a variety of food & in different combinations. Their Minorcan Chowder is great! Loaded with ingredients & very flavorful with a bit of a bite to it. This place is in a plaza & doesn't look like much from the outside but what a meal & what service!!! This is a must for us whenever we visit St Augustine.

Stayed at embassy suites across street and noticed hotel restaurant was totally empty, so walked across street. Place was full of patrons, but we were seated right away. Food was good, not great. Drinks we ordered were sub par... Dirty martini and cloyingly sweet bay breeze. And while billed as beach front, this place is across street from beach, with peek a boo views of water across street, even on upper level. Nice live music, though. Salt Life Food Shack believes in total guest satisfaction and we work hard to achieve that goal. If there is ever an area of concern, please bring it to the attention of a manager and they will do all they can to elevate your dining experience. Some of our award winning signature dishes such as our Caliche's Poke Bowl and Shack Fish. The Poke Bowl includes; fresh tuna seasoned with Caliche's secret marinade, served with steamed spinach over sticky rice, finished with diced avocados, green onions and sesame seeds. Our Shack Fish is fresh and locally caught and prepared three different ways. The Rainforest is a fan favorite (wood-grilled local catch of the day finished with our signature salsa verde and julienned vegetables served on top of a warm black bean orzo and plantains). Other favorites include our Lobster and Shrimp Pasta (sautéed Maine lobster and shrimp tossed in a creamy sun dried tomato sauce topped with parmesan and green onions) and Shrimp Brochette (large shrimp wrapped in applewood-smoked bacon, grilled with pineapples and brushed with Hawaiian teriyaki glaze, served with tropical fried rice and garnished with sesame seeds). We truly appreciate your business and hope to see you again soon!

The only restaurant directly on the ocean in St Augustine Beach. Great Food, Cold Beer, and Specials Daily. Where 'A' Street meets the Ocean.
We enjoyed the food. The Mahi was nice fried, light crisp breading. Fries and Mac & cheese good enough. Hubby had the coconut shrimp and it was big shrimps and sweet and crunchy. I would get that if we were to come back. they do serve a salad with the dinner meal which is not normal nowadays. Kudos. #enjoy

I had this restaurant recommended to me several times by locals. I was not disappointed! I ordered the coconut shrimp. They were huge! Delicious too! The mango slaw was fabulous and I am not really big on mangos. But it added a hint of sweet to it. I tasted some shrimp tacos too. Very good! They are very close to the beach. And this area does not seem to be a huge tourist spot this time of the year. So it was nice and quiet with few people on the beach.

La Cocina International Restaurant offers intimate Fine Dining with a Latin Flair in a Casual Atmosphere
Had breakfast two mornings while staying at the hotel. While service is a bit slow (only 1 server) the food was excellent. The omelets were really flavorful and fresh and fluffy and the bacon perfectly crispy. The pancakes were light and airy, and they didn't bat an eye when having to redo them for my fussy son. The breakfast sandwich was tasty and fresh. The blueberry crepes good but a bit small for the likes of my teenager. Overall a great value and I would very much recommend (even though it is in a hotel restaurant)

In business since 1990, we're located #SomewhereOnA1A across from the beach! We have several seating areas for laid back dining. Whether you're interested in dining indoors, outdoors in the beautiful open air on our first floor deck, first floor patio Or
We sat on the upper deck after sunset since there was nice breeze blowing. My husband & I enjoyed the Blackened Seafood and the Blackened Chicken. The overall experience would have been been better if the waiter would have been more personable. He seemed bothered that he had to wait on us.
