Our trip to Mordecai's was everything you expect in a small town, from the friendly, efficient staff, to the hot, delicious meal. We had fried pickles as an appetizer, and I will confess, I was planning on skipping them because I don't like pickles. I ate one to be courteous, but the next two were because they were delicious! I loved the batter that had a tiny kick to it. All three of us has the Mahi mahi sandwich, which was exceptional. I had onion rings with mine, which were coated with the same delicious batter.
Wonderful meal!

Went here after a morning at Maker Marks. Fettuccine with seafood marinara was so delicious. Hubby love eggplant parmigiana. He said it was good. Missed it first time through town. It's on the T of Depot and Main. Cute interior. $36 including tip and one wine.

We ate at SHP with our teen-aged granddaughters as prt of our visit to see the Dale Chihuly sculptures at Maker's Mark Distillery. We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at SHP, even though SHP does NOT have sweet tea. It does, however, have Ale-8-One, Benedictine cheese sandwiches, and several other authentic Kentucky dishes. All in all, an outstanding lunch, well worht the price.

The pizza really did taste good, however the delivery driver came tearing down the old country road of the B&B we were staying at, but we didn't think to look at the pizza before she left. Half of our pizza was literally mush. Maybe you should just eat at the restaurant.

Very eclectic place! lol Part old time banquet hall diner, part dining room/ bar, part outdoor patio. We sat on the patio since it was so nice. Almost left, however, as guests next to us were smoking (luckily they got up to leave very quickly). Not used to smoking being allowed in restaurants, even outdoor spaces where food is served. Our waitress was attentive and sweet. Nice selection of bourbons, and mixed drinks. We all had the Lamb Burger - fantastic. Cooked perfectly. The outdoor space has a small stage area with music - we were there before it started (long day on the bourbon trail!). Could have dialed down the piped in music a bit, but really no complaints. A good farm to table eatery.

The food is so wonderful--freshly made with wholesome ingredients; I love the fact that nothing was pre-packaged. I was even able to get vegetarian. The wait time was not long, and the staff was very friendly. Meals are reasonably priced (around $7). The seating is limited but very roomy, and the country decor is "egquisite." The only thing I don't like is that they are not open more, but I hear that is getting ready to change. Can't wait!

This public golf course, is nestled in between the corn fields and contours to the land. A fun course. Then have a wonderful dinner at the club house. The menu is All American but everything is fresh, well prepared and politely served. It was a great night. Unlimited soda, and yummy deserts made us over stuffed, with a smile.Try the pork chops and the fried shrimps, don't forget the freshly fried pickles!

The drive thru here is basically used as a suggestion speaker. Sometimes you will get what you order and sometimes you will get whatever they want you to have. However, one this is for sure and that is you'll always pay for what you order. Just check your bag before you drive off as more times than not, your order will be incorrect.

Stayed in Lebanon, Ky for travels of Bourbon Trail. Lebanon small quaint town rolls up early. Only place in town with alcohol was this restaurant. Very nice interesting decor, very kid friendly. Staff was courteous and prompt. Food was very good and plentiful at very reasonable prices. They also offer other items not Mexican leaning as steaks and sandwiches. If staying in Lebanon highl reccommend.
