Skopelos is one of several islands which comprise the Northern Sporades island group, which lies east of the Pelion peninsula on the mainland and north of the island of Euboea. It is part of the Thessaly region. Skopelos is also the name of the main port and the municipal center of the island. The other communities of the island are Glossa and Neo Klima (Elios). The geography of Skopelos includes two mountains over 500 m (1,640 ft); Delphi (681 m/2,234 ft) in the center of the island, and Palouki (546 m/1,791 ft) in the southeast. With an area of 96 square kilometres (37 sq mi) Skopelos is slightly larger than Mykonos (85 km/33 sq mi) and Santorini (73 km/28 sq mi). The nearest inhabited islands are Skiathos to the west and Alonissos to the east.

Nice break from the Greek food . Pizzas are nice, not as much choice as we are used but there is the possibility to order extra ingredients. We ordered take out, that took about 20 minutes for 2 pizzas, so we took a walk in the area. Defenately worth a visit.

We had such high expectations. Although the restaurant accommodated us without a reservation the meal was a disappointment. It started with the Adrina Salad with way too much cheese. Then they turned on the TV with a football match! Really isnât this more upscale than a sports bar? My pork chop was overdone and my husbandâs fish underdone. The ÎλεÏα we ordered never came. Lots of other options on the island and close with better prices and quality.

This place is very different from most of the other restaurants in Neo Klima. They have a small menu but what they do is delicious. We ordered burgers which were enormous and tasty. I had sweet chili chicken, I don't know what I was expecting to get, but I received a lovely sweet and sour style stir fry. Highly recommended. They also do great cocktails! You find the restaurant on the road from glossa to skopelos near the Delphi and slips hotels.

Food was alright but left much to be desired, it ended up being our most expensive and least enjoyable meal on our trip to date!! All the fresh fish was from the Adrina beach hotel restaurant (located 5 mins walking time away with much better service and food). Our waiter kept trying to up-sell us on the most expensive menus on the item and when we didn't acquiesce he was visibly unimpressed and short with us for the rest of our meal. The "famous" lobster spaghetti we ended up ordering was extremely disappointing, will not be attending again. Only redeeming factor was the beautiful view, which you can find at most restaurants on Skopelos.
