The largest city on the Adriatic Coast, seaside delight Split has been under Roman, Venetian, Austrian, French, Italian and Yugoslav control. There is an abundance of restaurants and wine cellars. Sites such as Diocletian's Palace and Mausoleum, the Grgur Ninski Statue and the Cathedral and Bell Tower of St. Domnius justify its position as a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site. The city's coves offer several lovely beaches, including central Bacvice. Ferries link Split to Dalmatian summer resorts.

Having read the reviews I couldn’t agree more with others in the exemplary customer service we received on our stay at Villa Toni. My family of 2 adults and 2 boys visited for 5 nights in June. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how helpful the staff were. We were given the rundown on the local sites and places to visit with help with all bookings where required, even given breakfast to go on the early morning starts. I would definitely recommend both Split as a town and villa Toni for somewhere to stay.

The stylish Boban Luxury Suites offer a designer outdoor pool the free Wi-Fi, a balcony and cable TV in all accommodation units. It is 200 metres from the sea. Free parking is provided and Bačvice Beach is 1 km away. UNESCO-protected Diocletian's Palace is within 1.5 km or a 15-minute walk along the coastline promenade. The spacious interiors are air conditioned and brightly decorated. Minibar and private bathroom with shower and hairdryer are standard facilities. Beds come with anti-allergenic linen, and room service is available as well.
They kept 500 euros for the booking (their booking policy prevented refunds!) and said we had a voucher for future travel...But now we can travel after covid, they said the voucher ran out last year (when we couldn’t travel!) Reading the reviews, we maybe had a lucky escape from a not very luxurious hotel - but the dishonesty and bad faith is quite unbelievable.

Villa Baguc is protected by the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Croatia and thus offers a authentic experience of Dalmatian tradition and heritage. It is situated in the old Split quarter of Veli Varos, in the very heart of the Old Town, just a stone's throw away from the famed Diocletian's Palace – a unique living monument protected by the UNESCO.Discover our Villa Baguc, a stylish blend of traditional and modern, reminiscent of the magical world of ancient Dalmatia...
Enjoyed my two nights at Vila Baguc. As an introduction to Split, I could not have selected a better accommodation! I selected a top floor room; beautiful, clean and comfortable. The hosts serve a spectacular breakfast, offer lots of suggestions and their place is just steps from the old town, Highly recommend for your time in Split.

It was very quiet, extremely comfortable, very clean and breakfast was included. Parking is available on the premise. Daniel the innkeeper was very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this villa.

This accommodation is fantastic, and in a great location right on the edge of the old town. The apartments are spacious, super clean and well equipped. You can walk to anywhere in Split, at any time of the day or evening. Even though it’s in a pedestrian street, we were not bothered at all by noise, and there are window shutters to close if there is some street noise. Karlo is a top rate host. He responds quickly to communications. He arranged a great airport transfer for us, and was waiting for us when arrived. He gave us great recommendations, then contacted us each day to see if we needed anything, or needed help. Not intrusive, just really helpful. Highly recommend Tri Lava and would stay again if we return to Split.

Camera matrimoniale con balcone pulita e moderna, bagnetto piccolo senza finestra con cucina condivisa ma molto spaziosa e ben fornita. Mamma kasalo e Rocco super carini e gentili nonostante non parlino molto l inglese. Asciugamani puliti tutti i giorni. A due passi dalle spiagge di Stobreč.

I stayed for two nights at the apartment. The room was clean and comfortable and has A/C which is needed in August in Split. The owner is very friendly and gave me a shot of a local spirit from his home country, Bosnia, when I was picking up the key. There is a well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor when you enter the apartment which I did not use except for water. It is on a very accessible street, very close to the main promenade. The neighborhood is a great place for a base for exploring Split with lots of cafés and restaurants nearby.

Since this seems to be the first report, I'd better say more than usual. As far as i can tell, the apartments consist of two units in a multi-occupancy block. There is no on-site presence; you ring Ivana if you need anything. Our apartment had the sea view/balcony; do not consider any other option. The apartment is accessed by four flights of stone stairs. The "garden" is a joke--- weeds and concrete. Inside, the apartment is fine. Clean, reasonably spacious and equipped. There is a lovely view over the port However, between the balcony and the port lie a railway line (little used) and the main road out of the port. The road is always busy, and sometimes exceedingly so. It's a hill, so lorries and buses grind up it with gusto. It's noisy. Light sleepers should not stay here. Since the block is up a slight hill, getting in and out of town is affected by your physical state. Fit people will take ten to fifteen minutes, but us old fogies take quite a bit longer. It's too far to nip in and out of town. The quickest way is to turn right out of the gate and follow the little lane There are a few local facilities within a few minutes' walk -- shop, bar, restaurants. I imagine the block is handy for the beach, but I don't go there as a rule. So if you're a bit immobile or a poor sleeper, don't book here. If you want something smart, ditto. It is what it is -- reasonably comfortable, but in a poor position. Split itself is quite nice.

The apartment is in a great location just a short walk away from the centre making everything easily accessible. The apartment is has a fridge/freezer, microwave, hob so it is very practical. It doesn’t look quite look the photos I saw of it online but still a good and inexpensive place to stay whilst in Split.
