We went to El Castillo on opening night. Really enjoyed the ambiance. It is a tastefully setup restaurant, with great care for detail. Also the food and staff all wonderful. We really enjoyed it. Also the fact they try and do everything to limit the environmental impact is worth mentioning. We were on the covered terrace, enjoying the sun and big garden. Food was perfect (we ordered octopus with potatoes, squids and tiramisu) everything was cooked well. Service is also perfect. Needed a takeaway on our first night, picked Tajer D'Oro as we were driving past. Pizza was excellent, great flavour and great crispy base. The owner was delightful and extremely patient with our complete lack of any Spanish.Returned another two times during the holiday and found the pasta was as good as the pizza. Absolute gem, only wish I lived close to visit regularly.

Very popular place, with good reason: lovely setting, friendly service and nice food at reasonable prices. That means you'll find it full most of the time. We tried to eat there three times and only managed once.Pizzas are good, and there are other dishes too. We tried cannelloni, which were fine but a bit bland. Most of the tables are outside, in an open garden (as a matter of fact there were NO tables inside in June). But that means it is not so comfortable when it is windy and more likely than not you'll be sitting next to people who smoke.

We wanted to choose this Restaurant because of the closeness to our finca and the pics and comments from guests. The dissapointment regards a table reservation is great. I have written 2 mails - no answer after 4 Weeks. One Tel. call in which they say I have to call again a week before the date of reservation. I wrote and called because we are 10people to make sure we get a table. Finally after 4 Weeks of no reply a very arrogant reply in which I have been told that they dont reply on e-mails only via Telephone but wouldnt take a telephone reservation 4 weeks ahead??? It really seems to me that they had made already enough money 2019 and no need for further guests. So unprofessional in times where e-mail is standard.Como ya te contestamos la última vez, sólo reservamos via telefónica y en horario abierto. Siento que no le guste nuestra forma de trabajar pero llevamos más de 15 años trabajando asà y nos funciona a la perfección!Suerte!

Originally, didn't want to have Pizza in Mallorca, as I usually prefer local food. Went there as the place was recommended by my hotel nearby. Very friendly staff and chef, and the Pizza was awesome. Thin, crunchy, simply delicious. I had been to Naples, Itlay, so I know what I'm talking about when talking about good Pizza!
