On our way down the mountain after visiting Bodega Reveron the taxidriver Miguel told us about this restaurant. He told us that during weekend it was aømost impossible to get a table here since the locals love this place. We asked him to stop for lunch here. What a joy We asked the waiter to bring us 6 different tapas/starters on his recomanding.Fresh bread and 4 different sauces followed with. We got fried goatcheese, filled peppers bacalao, cured ham, the most awsome king oyster mushrooms, crutons and choritzo. Fantastic. We sat outside on the terrasse and had a stoning view overlooking the coastline. Please do yourself a favor. Take a taxi (or rent a car) and get away from the crowded coastline and meet the authentic kitchen of Tenerife. All i all, the cost for the meal incl. Taxi was almost the same as a meal in LC or Playa LA.The waiters where very polite, spanish speaking (a bit english) and with big smiles, and with a joke just around the corner. We loved it!

Returned here yet again with friends yesterday. A very warm welcome, especially from their regular waitress. We had a starter of morcilla (sweet black pudding) followed by grills - kid, rabbit and spatchcock chicken. All very good and portions so large our friend with dogs took away a large 'doggy bag'!

Actually we didn't find this, but trusted the great reviews on tripadvisor - well deserved. Had the chicken salad and rabbit, both delicious...was a bit loud, but I guess it was Saturday night. The service and food made up for it :) hope to return soon
Restaurant of traditional Canary food, with plates for veganos, where to taste the local wines of the zone of vilaflor. With local environment.
The decor in this place may look very basic, but give it a go, the food is delicious! I would recommend the cheese platter and the steak and chips was perfect. All of this is topped off by a friendly host and the most reasonable prices

Discovered this lovely little place entirely by accident during a day driving in the mountains (which are awesome btw). What a total delight! A very authentic and refreshing change from the usual formulaic faux offerings on the coast. This is real food cooked and served like it should be, by people who care and are happy to chat, if you bother to engage. Excellent little vine covered terrace at rear. The chicken and rabbit dishes were both superb along with the baked salted potatoes. My wife loved the local wine (normally a NZ Sav Blanc girl) Certainly worth the (occasionally) hair raising drive! Excellent day of scenic and gastronomic delights. Go enjoy!!

This was a fairly random choice of somewhere for lunch when visiting Vilaflor. We had an excellent lunch, large portions, good quality appetizing food, great value for money, shaded outside seating on a fairly quiet street and a very pleasant host. What more could you wish for?

We were heading up to Teidi National Park when we realised we were rather hungry! Luckily for us we stumbled across this lovely little restaurant. Itâs out in the middle of nowhere but still very popular! The restaurant was lovely and the staff incredibly friendly. We had soup to start followed by grilled chicken and chips. the meal was really lovely and incredibly good value for money.
