Tasca Tipica Canaria, Muy Bien Decorada, Comida Bien Elaborada, Buen Trato Y No Es Cara,
I had previously eaten at this restaurant (about 3 years ago) so it was easy to decide again for a nice dinner. The service was even better than the first time and the food was simply excellent. We shared assorted croquettes and beef steak which was cooked just right. The three sauces - alioli, mojo rojo and roquefort were a delicious supplement. I also had the soup of the day, which was a pumpkin cream soup with garlic spiced croutons and aged gouda cheese. Everything was perfect and reasonably priced.

Be prepared to take a number just like in the Supermarket at the meat counter and wait. Is it worth the wait yes. The ribs with boiled potatoes and sweetcorn is the star dish and is a Canarian experience. Casa Tomas has had famous singers and TV personalities at it's tables so it must be doing something right. Good value and varied menu not a place for a quite meal, we went mid week for lunch and it was full and noisy but well worth the wait.

Bistro Tapaste offers vegan food, all home made and healthy. From Monday to Friday there is a daily menu that includes soup, main dish and dessert with 9,90.
We went in and luckily managed to get a table. Inside the restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. The menu was explained to us.We chose the soups to start. Both were lovely, I especially enjoyed my pumpkin soup. The risotto was amazing, really tasty, you could tell all the ingredients were fresh and portions were quite large. Prices are really good and the service was excellent. Wish we were staying closer as we would visiting again. Thank you so much for taking the time to write about our place. We hope to see you soon.Regards,Mari and Gabriel

Absolutely fantastic dining experience at this lovely little restaurant. It is so popular that booking is essential. The waiter carefully explained the menu options and the specials. His advice was invaluable. We chose the recommended option of artichokes stuffed with foie gras, followed by a butter bean dish with calamares and mushrooms, then pork cheeks with fries. All delicious. As was the chocolate tart and the cheese selection. Wonderful!

I booked this restaurant for my birthday dinner on a mini break to Tenerife with my nine friends. The staff really looked after us and the food was amazing. The 'racion' portions are generous which we loved.. but we slightly over ordered having 3 each!!! It was great to try so many of the fabulous dishes though xThanks a lot Lucy for your kindest review and for celebrating your birthday in our house. We hope to see you again.

Hidden in a small village on the outskirts of La Laguna (Tenerife Norte) we found this absolutely adorable small restaurant. It has four tables and they should be always full. So book in advance! We tasted various dishes at this really refined restaurant. The chef made of each dish we had choosen 3 small portions,so we all could taste everything. It was wonderful and very delicate. The service was very personal with the chef closeby... We had one fo the most beautiful luncheons at La Comera I enjoyed in many years. great place for food lovers.

Restaurant located in Tacoronte, kitchen elaborated with the affection of a mother. Great variety of dishes: tostas, montaditos, Iberian, croquettes, salads, freshly made tortillas, broken eggs, vegetables tumbet, steaks, cod and delicious homemade desser
We absolutely loved it! The food is simple, very authentic however with a modern touch, and very tasty and the prices were really ok (we got our bellys full for about 15 euros, including wine for me and beer for my husband, and dessert)The atmosphere is really nice, packed with locals. The menu is only in spanish. We arrive after 9, the restaurant was completely empty and we enjoyed a peaceful start of our dinner; around 10, the locals started to arrive and it became much louder; the atmosphere was different, but nevertheless nice. Usually an empty restaurant is not a good sign, but in Spain, timing is of essence ;)If you are in the area between La Laguna and Puerto de la Cruz, i can only recommend.Reservation could be useful especially for bigger groups; there were a lot of tables booked and i think we were quite lucky to get a table.

We stopped off to have lunch and found an experience that we had to repeat a few days later for dinner and was not disappointed. Our lunch was served while we were sitting outside and the level of service was fantastic to the point that waiter suggested we stopped ordering different dishes as he felt that we had over ordered, he suggested that we could always order more if required. The food that was served was very nice and as person who only orders salad if required had to concede that this had to be the best that I have ever tasted. The menu appeare not to change but as visitor I feel this is an advantage as they produce fantastic food from a menu that they know well, the fried aubergines hit the spot for me and I have to say that the rice soaked in red peppers took a lot of faith to take the first mouthful but by the end I was looking for more. The down fall was the deserts as there was a limited choice however again the food won over.So if the day is sunny sit outside you don't get forgottenWe are so grateful of hearing such a good comment! We hope to have you at our restaurant the next time you are around. Thank you very much

Having visited Teide, we drove down towards the coast looking for a "local" sort of place (i.e. not one with loads of photos explaining the dishes). This place shares a car park with a second hand car dealership, so plenty of space. The restaurant is entered through a tiny bar and into a wood-panelled area that looks like it could cater for a fair number of diners. The set meal was a bargain at 10 Euros, which included a generous chicken soup filled with noodles, followed by a good-sized pork chop served with all the trimmings. Dessert was included, as was a small beer. There were a few other diners, though none spoke in english, which was nice. Good, simple, cheap and very friendly restaurant.

typical Canarian food, specializing in grilled foods, rustic family atmosphere
We lived nearby and once decided to have dinner in this place. Before it we've read a lot of rewiews in tripadvisor and google about this place. But the reality doesn't live up to expections. We order wine, steak and salad with 1 portion of bread for 2 persons. First, the price for wine was incorrect. OK, we agreed with waiters' price, he said about mistake in menu. The steak was not good - we order "medium" readiness, but steak was "medium rare" and "rare" some places. The vegetables in salad was immature, not good enough to eat. But the final was a bill. It was higher than it must be. They entered one more bread (+â¬0,85) and they entered another dish, not steak (+â¬1,58). When we asked about it, they returned us only bread price, not steak, they explained "it is incorrect price in menu, not our fault". I hope, that they don't do it with every tourist or traveller.. I really hope, that it wasn't deception, but only silly mistake. BUT i can't recommend El Pariente to other travellers, I think that they "love" locals, but they are ready for deceive every tourist for their money...
