Restaurant with typical Italian homemade food, pizza with slow yeast, two days of natural yeast, the restaurant is hidden in the old town of Tazacorte ... in view of the sea
Had several dinners at La Locanda the pizzas and pasta are delicious and very reasonable. Would have gone on our last night in Tazacorte but the restaurant was closed because of a televised concert just below the restaurant and the TV station needed to block off the restaurant.

Brilliant no frills place with great service and delicious pizzas.Situated on the promenade of the little town of Tazacorte with great views over the banana plantations below, the ocean and the impressive cliff of El Time, this restaurant is a popular haunt with tourists and locals alike. There is a large range of one size pizzas cooked fresh to order in the kitchen over the road and I have to say the two we had were both delicious. You can order extra ingredients for an extra euro per ingredient. Beer, wine and soft drinks are on offer and wine by the carafe is possible which is always good if only one of you is drinking or if one of you say likes red and the other white. The welcome was warm and the service very good. The promenade is popular with the locals and on a balmy Friday night it was great to see all the families out with their children and beginning to relax for the weekend. If you have room, the panna cotta is also to be recommended. There are usually a couple of specials of the day but essentially if great pizza and friendly service is what you are after this is your place. All with a great view and possibly a chance to watch Canarians enjoying life at first hand. Excellent value and highly recommended.

Well... we know the chef and we know that they serve all homemade pastas... but tonight we tried fresh pesto with handmade ravioli and âburro e salviaâ ravioli .... no comments.... ancient flavors came in my brain.... as years ago when my grandma prepares me homemade pasta with burro e salvia.... great!!!! Then we have homemade red fruits cheesecake.... again, great!!Thanks!!! A must try!

Beautifully situated with indoor and outdoor dining possibilities. Sweeping views of the ocean and mountains. Lovely tasting Italian dishes served by friendly staff. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience in this establishment. Highly recommended. We had a table of eight and each and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed not just the wonderful food but the whole dining experience. Outdoor play area for children too. Go for it youâll love it!!

Having seen this restaurant many times I thought it was a good idea to visit and try a meal. Spaghetti Bolognese which I ate was ok. The pasta tasted starchy. I canât say anything negative however this restaurant needs something to make its mark. Views are null from the windows. Bearing in mind this restaurant is in an ocean area there are many places that offer ocean view dining. My friends meal was fine. I just think the pasta may have been reheated which gave it a starchy texture. I donât feel I would return here. Dear customer, first I feel that you need a view to the sea, but if a restaurant does not have a view it is not our fault, it is simply the location that there is, however, if you had reserved our table with a ocean view, you would have had it. With respect to the starchy pasta, the only thing I can say is that we use first quality pasta and made at the moment ... so do not come here to complain about something that you have not claimed at any time to our staff. Go to eat with ocean view and put sea view reviews ... happy holidays

I had the garlic bread and a pizza margherita for takeaway. The staff was friendly and the pizza was ready in under twenty minutes. The garlic bread was delicious, and the garlic was sliced in little cubes so you could see the garlic. The pizza was lovely with a lot of oregano which i love. The crust was thin and cross. Perfect meal

Nice place has offered traditional brick-oven pizza, salads, pasta and gnocchis with various sauces and homemade desserts for 10 years.
Not much to say about the inside of the restaurant, it is quite plain. But the pizzas are a real treat! Go to Evangelina if you have a craving for great and tasty pizzas!

Maybe we just picked the wrong places before but boy were we glad to find this place where the waitress speaks english, german and even a little bit of dutch. And luckily the food was also excellent. Pizza's and pasta's, that's about all the menu has to offer. But the pizza's and pasta's are delicious indeed. You can also see straight into the kitchen where they are cooking, which I always find very charming. Great place for some pizza or pasta! Definitely worth coming back to!

Italian restaurant specializing in fresh homemade pasta
Had to try this place as we had never eaten piadinas before.Spartan cafe decor.Waitress service was not the best, unhelpful and orders mixed up.Fantastic mixed salad but we found the piadinas dry and not particularly tasty. Not expensive except the wine.
