Familiar restaurant. We only use fresh and local products. No microwave or freezing products. Our goal is to make you feel at home. We have an open kitchen as long as we are open, but if you want to come at any other time just call us (Tuesday to Saturday
When you enter they tell you to feel at home. After 5 minutes you truly feel as if you are. Except with food that is truly amazing and better than you can ever dream of cooking up yourself! The service is lovely and the food even better! This is our second visit and we will be sure to come back in the next few days! A true Canarian experience, be sure to try it! Thank you so much Cindy K. We are honored with your comments. We really love to have customers feeling at home and it is a pleasure to see them coming again ...my father feels overwhelmed with your words. A really big hug from heart to heart.

The Canarian chamber of commerce recommended this restaurant as a place with traditional Canarian food. And in fact, it is a really traditional place. When getting in you arrive at a little bar and it doesnt look like a restaurant. But when asking for food we were taken to a room behind which was full with Canarian people, most families having lunch. We were the only tourists. I loved this atmosphere of loud speaking Spanish people, tables without table cloth etc. Really sincere atmosphere. Only one of the staff could speak English but everything worked out fine. The food was kind of cheap, simple but traditional (I assume) and just good.Worth a visit. Also really nice road half way on the mountain.Credit card accepted.Hi, Maximilian, thank you so much for your words, we hope see you again!

We came here after being recommended by a friend, itâs a nice drive sometimes scary as you climb up the mountain but itâs worth it. The views from outside are incredible and the restaurant itself was amazing, to sit down inside the cave with the seats that are part of the cave and the table is made from the rock in the cave. The food was beautiful and fresh, prices are reasonable for what you get which is plenty of food. The staff are polite and happy to help. All in all itâs definitely a experience to try, thereâs a souvenir shop down the road with beautiful gifts. If you want to have a experience to remember you have to come here

la Guagua Blanca offers a truly classical and typical homecooking with just some modern "twists", some surprise elements wisely added without exaggerations or distorsions of any sort. We like thinking about the image of our Grandmother, always busy in her
I was not expecting such a hidden gem just a 10min drive from our AirBnB Villa up the mountain, which is a quite remote location! A quick search of TripAdvisor revealed this amazing little restaurant. So glad we visited, from arrival to departure the experience was brilliant. English speaking staff, English menu and a warm welcome! A glass of sparkling wine on arrival (complimentary) and a small starter /entree also complementary. Many different options for all tastes. The location is perfect and for those staying in Maspalomas, it is just a 10min drive / taxi! Please make the journey to find this great eatery. If we hadnât decided to eat in our villa most nights, I would have for sure returned here multiple times!

Popped in on off chance. We were sceptical, but how wrong I was. Lovely attentive staff, helpful to us 2 vegetarians who donât eat meat & fish. Everyone was very happy with their food, and it was excellent value for moneyIf you order the luscious Spanish omelette, donât snack on the bread given whilst you wait, as you will have trouble finishing your food! Was scrummyThey have a wood oven, so presume they do some fancy cooking on that too.The views over the mountains is spectacular! So pleased we stopped & ate there

Stopped here on the way down the winding road and found the restaurant to be great in terms of service and value for money. We visited with our 9 month old and all the waiting staff fussed over her for the duration of our meal and gave her a little sweet treat on the house. We were randomly given two oranges on the table at the start of the meal which we subsequently left on the table at the end but the waiter caught up with us to take our oranges (nice if not random touch).

Restaurant Grill Fataga bet for a cuisine of great aspirations. In the elegant atmosphere of our establishment and Fataga village, we will be pleased to offer you the most classic dishes as well as more recent creations. Don't forget to visit us!
Decent place to eat. One of our deserts seemed to be going 'off' but was replaced without any problem. Friendly service.

In our kitchens smells marinated, countryside, sea and delicious soups cooked with the best products. Of land, the fruits gilded by the sun. Ocean, pearls rocked by the waves. Del monte, inheritance of origins. Restaurante Casa Antonio Jaen combines produ
After we've been ignored for the second time at the so-called "bike friendly restaurant" across the road (they are definitively NOT friendly there, be warned) we decided to try our luck at Casa Antonio. My god, why didn't we go there earlier! No waiting time (important for a hungry cyclist!), super friendly reception, clean toilets, and food to die for. Recommend part. the fried cheese (no batter!) with palm honey; this seems to be the signature starter of the restaurant.Fantastic meal, very reasonably priced, and a truly welcoming reception. Would go there anytime again.Muchas gracias por elegirnos ,es un placer recibirles de nuevo en casa antonio.Un abrazo

Beautiful place, great food and better people. If you come to Fataga you should stop and enjoy the perfect meal seating in an amazing terrace looking at the mountain. My favourite food as vegetarian it is the special salad, smoked cheese and the Canarian "Papas arrugadas". Great place & better food.Muchas gracias por su opinión positiva , nos alegra saber que su experiencia con nosotros ha sido como esperaba. Our favourite restaurant on the island and our third visit in nine months, El Apendre definitely deserves the epithet âhidden gemâ situated close to the village of La Sorrueda high in the mountains about 50 minutes drive from Maspalomas. The drive up is nothing short of spectacular with stunning views back down to the coastline and the roads are excellent and well maintained. Head towards the regional town of Santa Lucia and then take left fork at the local white walled cemetery signposted to La Sorrueda and La Fortaleza. Follow the minor road down the hill, ignore a right hand sign to the village and you will see the restaurant ahead of you. Parking is opposite along the side of the road.Food here is simple tapas with a choice of meats veg and salad and very generously proportioned. The setting is divine with the majority of tables outside on a small shaded terrace with the smell of wood smoke and peaceful countryside all around. Lunch today consisted of a simple tuna and egg salad starter followed by pork chops, local sausage cooked with apples and dates and Canarian potatoes on the side. As always we ordered more than we could manage but thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. The restaurant is run by what I assume is a husband and wife team. English is spoken enough to get by and they DO take credit cards, but this is definitely not your usual tourist fare. Including coffee and liqueurs total bill today was â¬35.Make sure you take a walk to the end of the track afterwards - lovely views over the valley will be your reward. An alternative route back to the motorway can take you via Cocodrilo Park a fabulous animal sanctuary about half an hour away to complete a wonderful day out in the mountains.
