Enjoyed a fantastic meal here on a Saturday night, without needing a reservation (I arrived just before the rush!). The location couldn't be better, as the restaurant is sat aside the Black Drin river and a pedestrianised walkway, which is perfect for a stroll.I ordered a side salad (which was huge and Delicious), as well as a pizza and pastrmajlija. I'd had the latter recommended to me; it is a traditional dish of Veles and other nearby towns in Macedonia apparently .This was the first time I'd seen it on any menu though. As it was also bread and cheese based (a la pizza), the helpful waiter and waitress asked if I knew exactly what I was ordering (in the nicest possible sens). I explained that I did, but appreciated the attentiveness. The food was very fresh and tasty, if not anything spectacular. The rustic setting made it feel all the more cosy too. With an old fireplace as the centrepiece, this place must be full of charm on cold winter nights. All in all, a hugely enjoyable meal in a lovely setting. Good value for money too. Would happily recommend this place to anyone.

This establishment is located right by the lake, in a beautiful landscape. Service is a bit slow, but lunch at the terrace is a feast for both tongue and eyes.

Recently I was able to enjoy a nice dinner here with friends. This is the second time I've eaten here, the first time being two years ago. My thoughts? It's good, solid traditional macedonian food, but that being said it's just good, solid, traditional macedonian food. If you want to try out macedonian food, this is a wonderful place! We had the traditional mixed salad, the baked beans and a lovely homemade sausage. However, to me, it tastes like macedonian food pretty much anywhere in the country.

The best meal we had in Struga and, bearing in mind the quality-to-cost-to-service ratio, probably the best meal we've had all week!As others have said, the owner and waiters were all very kind and helpful and, I'll add, honest about the sizes of their portions (huge, even for my ever-hungry husband!).I wish we'd been staying in Struga longer so we could've tried their eel dish - you have to pre-order by 4 hours (due to the preparation method).
