The location is fantastic, situated on the Pargas canal. We ordered a couple of burgers and some chips - I thought an XL would be an appropriate size but woah: it was enormous. One of the biggest burgers Iâve ever had. The problem is that it was too big for the packaging it came in, and would have been better on a plate. It was a tad too messy to eat. Even the smaller burger my wife had was uncomfortably large.The large chips was extremely large too - portion sizes here are giant. That being said the food was very good and the burgers tasty. The chips were great with salt and herbs, and they came with 3 different dips.

Saunarantti (sauna + restaurant) is a truly unique destination located in Parainen, right on the southern shores of Airisto bay. It is abouot 45 minutes by car from Turku. Plan ahead as this is usually reserved for corporate functions.Enjoy the steam of a genuine smoke sauna or take a dip in the wood-fired hot tubs down by the lake. After the sauna experience, dinner is served. Classic dishes straight off the charcoal-fired BBQ, or try house specialties prepared in the smoke sauna. The grill menu includes fillet of lamb, beef liver, chicken breast and sausages. The Saunaman Menu includes salmon and pork ribs smoked slowly in the sauna. Another favourite menu is garlic roasted lamb and beef entrecÃ´te.Meats served with pepper sauce, a wild mushroom sauce, seasonal vegetables, potatoes, fresh salads, and of course, dessert. All are excellent.
