South side of Lake Balaton is only catching up in term of gastronomy and it's still difficult to find casual restaurants with high quality food.My Kitchen (A KonyhÃ¡m) is located at a beach, among other beach food "restaurants" but stands out with it's menu and quality of food (and higher prices).Menu is not long but not short either, you've got a couple of main dishes+burgers and a few soups/dessert with interesting choices but not heute cuisine. I say it's spot on for the location and potential audience.We tried the pork neck confit with potatoes/onion and a real nice jus and the breaded cheese (local, fresh cheese) with apricot jam and salad. Both of them were prepared perfect but had to wait 40 mins which I found too much. Service was okay but not really friendly hence the -1 star.Considering what it is, a small beach food joint and that you don't have many choices around the area I'd return to try other dishes and hope for quicker service.Overall, I can recommend the place and hope they can stir up the 50 year old communist tradition of serving sh*tty food at Balaton.

We have had a couple of occasions eating here. Always had good impression. During summer the place is quite busy but they try to do their best. Overally the a la carte is long and maybe not all courses are 100 % perfect but if you go for a steak you can not make a mistake :)

Delicious tradicional handmade burgers from 100% beef, and fabolous athmosphere with 70's rock music. We are in the top100 places around lake balaton. We are in TOP7 burgers in Budapest.(big7islands)

We had a long weekend in Balatonlelle and we heard rumours about this place from the local people. I'm big fun of burgers and I used to be headchef in a burger place at the beginning of my ''career path '' and I use to try the burger palcese if I go to somewhere to vacation. So I did alike now as I always do. The place is rear and seams chaotic BUT somehow in this place this is the key to success. Nice selection on beers choice, welcoming services and as the name mentioning :ROCK MUSIC!!! The decoration is rough what is in perfect match with the atmosphere. We tried 3 different burger. .all of them is well prepared,seasoned and juicy tasty. . I'll not hesitate to return if next time I'll come to Balatonlelle. . Well done guys!! Keep it up!! â©
