We ate here as a family during our time at Balaton. Service was very slow even though there were only a few tables in the restaurant, maybe because the restaurant also does delivery/takeaway but I'm not sure. It took forever to order drinks, food etc. And then items were always forgotten. Also the pizza was amazing but the toppings did not match the menu descriptions, it's like the chef just threw what he wanted on them. This was fine for us adults but not for the children, who didn't like certain random things on their pizzas.

You know it's pretty Italian when the barman doesn't seem to speak a word of Hungarian. This delightful place on the South shore of Lake Balaton has the right feeling. The owner is continually circulating making sure things are running well and often escorts customers to the door when they decide to depart. When the waiters pass, they scan to see if anyone is in need of anything. When a pizza is out of the oven, a bell rings and the waits staff literally runs to get it to the table. When someone leaves, the entire staffs bellows "Arrivederci!" We came for a late lunch on a Tuesday and found the place quite busy. Within two minutes there was some freshly made crostini on the table. The menu covers a broad range including many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. (The crust on the gluten free pizza is better than the regular crust!) I started with a salad of burrata (special ball form of mozzarella with a creamy interior) with cherry tomatoes and fresh greens. It was simple and delicious. I also sampled the tomato soup, typical of Hungarian Italian restaurants, which produce a slightly chunky tomatoes puree rather than the creamy basil flavoured bisque featured in many other places. I decided to try a pizza: walnuts and gorgonzola with added capers and mushrooms. The crust isn't exactly Napolitano. It was crispy like a cracker. There was more mozzarella than gorgonzola, but it was still delicious. For once someone toasted the walnuts before putting them on a pizza. Most places omit this step, thinking no doubt that the heat of the pizza oven will toast the dust. This is always a mistake; it doesn't. So that was a real flavour boost. The crust on my friend's gluten free pizza was better. (It is amazing how good these have gotten.) For dessert I decided to try the zuppa inglese. Now I am a great fan of zabaglione. Zuppa inglese has generous quantities of this sherried custard mixed with chunks of cake and, in this case, blobs of what looked like chocolate mousse. The whole thing was covered in grocery store, cocoa based chocolate sauce (!) and was garnished with canned, gassed up whipped cream (tsk, tsk!). I couldn't really taste the zabaglione for all the chocolate sauce. So this dessert needs work and a little more care. It really doesn't take that long to whip genuine cream, especially for this price. There were too many shortcuts. My friend's gluten free pear cake was good. And the coffee afterwards was first rate. Overall, it was a lovely lunch in the right atmosphere. There were some nice touches of technique and also several items that were wanting. I will certainly give this place another look the next time I am in the area.

The whole restaurant is decorated with Flintstones pictures, feautres. Even the bathroom and the baby changing room. Very unique decoration that they created. It is children friendly. The food is very nice . They make amazing cocktails as well. It is close to the promenade. Absolutely centre location.

You can find our restaurant in the heart of Siófok next to the water tower. What we offer:authentic italian and hungarian foods from fresh ingredients, give You unforgettable gastro experience. We also serve the best wines of Balaton wine region! Jó étvág
We ate here twice, pizza, pasta and salads. All were good, the only thing disappointing was the Tiramisu (not a real one). The Panna cotta is ok. The restaurant is on the main square not very far from the lake (10minutes walk). It's good value for money.

We stopped by on a blistering hot day and the mister outside was wonderful. We shared a pizza and it was very good. We had a couple of cold draft beer while looking up the stairs to the Abby. Great location next to the drop off place for the trolley train. Service was very good as were the prices.

Ordered two pizzas, one was OK (diavola with extra ham), the other one not (bolognese with extra hair). Friendly service otherwise.

Very small, family run, cosy restaurant. 7 of us were there. Very good quality Italian food. Prices are reasonable. Popular restaurant with a few table only, so booking in advance is a must.

We were group of 12 persons having dinner there and the food was really good. I have a good experience of Italian restaurants in Budapest and I can guarantee that this one was up to my expectations. Pizza Ciao Ciao Italia (Parma Ham) was really tasty. We will return to this restaurant next time we are around.

We were here for late dinner in May 2018, so the main season was just at the beginning. Not many people in any of the restaurants in Tihany. We have ordered two chicken salads, glass of wine and wheat beer called Edelweis. We get small pizza thingies aside the salads. They were really good, so we wanted to order another portion of them. Waitress said it is not possible. Well, ok, no problem.. though I would think you can be little creative if guest asks for something you don´t have on the menu... Another problem was when we ordered another pair of drinks. Waitress brought us normal Soproni beer in Edelweiss glass. My friend said it is not Edelweiss, waitress said "Oh my god" and rolled her eyes. OK, sorry for being so rude to be a guest who knows the difference between beer and beer :/ She brought the right beer and since that moment no one came to our table to ask if we want to order anything else. Only when I wanted to pay, another waitress came.It was really bad experience. I know the season is just beginning, you do not have many guests, which may made you a bit nervous, but ... hey, your guests are bringing your salary in their wallet.

As in topic they serve very nice pizza thin cake and lot of additions. Best thing is that they use classic wooden fire furnace - if you never try such pizza you definitely should taste is much different from standard electric one. If you are are not a fun of pizza don't worry they also have sea food. Generally greater place with delicious pizza for reasonable place. They speek German, English and of course Hungarian ;)Enjoy
