We opted to come here for some lunch as there was a number of people there but most were just having drinks. The service was generally slow, but as is in Sri Lanka, so we just enjoyed the view.We had the chicken noodles which came quick and was nice. We had also ordered the fried prawns and calamari with fires and salad and when the waiter took our order we had to show him the item and repeat ourselves, but we still felt he didnât understand. 10mins after the noodles arrived we were given a plate of curry calamari with fries and salad and had to explain to the waiter again and show him the menu item, another 20 mins later just fries calamari arrived but with cold chips, we had explained this was still wrong but as the noodles had already been finished we just kept the plate. Unfortunately the calamari was tough and as the chips were cold most of it was left. We didnât get an apology for the service so wonât be coming back.Maybe just come for a beer in the beach

Came across Gaamaâs place just after arriving in Hikkaduwa.Gaama was so friendly and funny we returned there every night of our holiday. The rottis were delicious whether savoury or sweet, especially the banana and honey.Highly recommend the drink âArackâ,goes down very easily, and Gaama made sure I never had an empty glass. All the family were lovely people, and of course superstar Billy Boy!This rotti house is well worth a visit and a lot of return visits!
