A nice little cozy cafe serving light bites Sri Lankan food with the odd western option thrown in. One of the few places we found to get a western coffee in Unawatuna. Staff are a bit on the moody side, though

Heritage Cafe & Bistro's humble beginnings were when a couple of very passionate nomadic travelers and lovers of excellent cuisine, decided to pack up from mainstream city life to endure a newfound passion in the quest to find "ultimate paradise." After t
To me, the most striking aspect of the Heritage Cafe in Galle is the decor and atmosphere. The furnishings harken back to an earlier time, steeped in history and local culture. The food is tasty, but pretty standard. I remember I ordered a burger and they came back to me saying they had run out. I also remember being a little underwhelmed by the wrap, as I didn't find it value for money. I wouldn't write home about the bistro part of this establishmentI would go back, however to sit in the cafe, drink in the ambience and sip Ceylonese tea. I had an iced tea and sat for a long while, used the WiFi, had access to clean bathrooms and wrote post cards. I would definitely return to the cafe again, to stave off the afternoon heat over a refreshing iced tea.Â

It is a local and family-owned restaurant where you get homemade and typical food from Sri Lanka.
Stopped for a drink at this quaint little bar at a bend in the road. Is quite busy at times. Food looks ok.

Come upstairs and relax in our newly renovated restaurant located in the newly opened Karma Collection building in the world heritage Galle Fort. Enjoy our delicious sweet & savory crepes, salads & wraps, wide variety of coffees & teas, our famous chiller
Really nice atmosphere in this restaurant. The drinks selection was very good I chose a minty lime and ginger chiller which was very thirst quenching. We then had some specialty crepes which were delish.

My family & I just wanted somewhere to chill out after 2 1/2 weeks travelling around Sri Lanka. We stayed at the Flower Garden Unawatuna and we so happy with our decision to stay. We were met by the owner Sassi & his wonderful staff. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom chalet and it was great! The staff are so friendly & go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The grounds are immaculate, the buffet breakfast was lovely, 2 swimming pools, lovely grounds surrounded by beautiful gardens, coconut trees & an ambudance of wildlife including monkeys, lizards, squirrel, frogs, birds etc.... It's about a 5-10 min walk to the beach & plenty of restaurants nearby but to be honest the hotel restaurant is great beautiful food there too. I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness but most of all the great staff. We will be back.

The ROCKSIDE RESTAURANT is located at the garden and at the beach at the ROCKSIDE CABANAS HOTEL with direct view to the Indian Ocean in Mihripenna/Talpe, beach side, directly at the Mihiripenna/Dalawella Beach. It is daily permanently open from 8 am to 11
We did not stay at this lovely property but ate in it 3 nights out of 7! Food was wonderful, beside the sea with turtles popping their heads up a few metres away in the waves. Great, friendly staff and freshly prepared food. Also one of the fab swings that goes over the sea is part of the property.
