Huge kebab roll, biggest I've bought any where in the world. Service was slow as we waited 10 minutes at the counter just to order. Biggest disappointment was the kebab was cold...first kebab I have ever received cold. Only one type of MEAT kebab and it does not tell you what meat it is. NO chicken option either. Kebab store needs a revamp, but nice outside dining area.

They are advertising the place in the street corner, like it would be open, but there is a sign at the door that the restaurant is temporarily closed.
Understandable due to the construction work next door, but why they have left the welcoming advertisement on the street.

This restaurant is situated at the same building with a nice Sokos hotel. Very nice place with a friendly staff who don't forget their clients. I especially like the Finnish privacy that the tables are situated so that you can have a privacy while eating and not being too close to the next tables. I had a steak of pork with a garlic smetana cream ,some vegetables and potatoes made in oven. When asking the waitress couldn't tell me excactly which vegetables I would have inclused the portion but had a guess would be like zucchines and swedes and was right about it. It's a bit strange though if they don't have a stable portion regarding vegetables because in Finland there aren't so many varieties of them during the winter time.Anyway, vegetables weren't not so well cooked and I either had much of them on my plate which was a pity because with a big steak you finish them immidiately. In generally the portion was quite good, the pork was well cooked and not too spicy. As a dessert I took a piece of lemon cake, really delicious and creme brule with raspberry and a meringue. The whole dessert was absolutely good. I can recommend this restaurant as one of the best's you can find in Seinäjoki because they don't hide the taste of the food with unnecessary spices like many restaurants do.

We had dinner with business acquaintances on a busy Friday night while staying at adjoining hotel Vaakuna. The hotel was fully booked, as both restaurants. Dinner was pleasant, as always. Fransmanni does not give you any surprises -- good or bad - but that is a compliment. You know what you get.
Escargot was one of the best cooked I have ever had: just the right amount of garlic and roqueford cheese and those snails were'nt a bit gummy. Goat cheese chicken salad was also cooked to perfection and I have had a lot of goat cheese in my days.
But the most nicest thing was the server. He was a delight, well informed, friendly, attentive but not intrusive, prompt and polite. Nice evening, although we accidentally did break a water pitch. Sorry about that.

Very cosy place with retro style furniture and they serve mostly craft beers, Finnish and foreign. Mallaskoski is the local brand (Seinäjoki). Customer service is very good, this is the place you really enjoy your stay. At least during daytime/early evening it is nice and quiet for chat with your friends. Suitable for families as well, many families with children came to eat there. I chose fish and chips, it was tasty and all the other portions going to other customers' tables looked delicious as well.
Summertime they also offer brewery tours (Mallaskoski) and beer tastings. Menu and other information can be found on their web site. Opens 3pm and closed Monday+Sunday.

Valkoinen Puu is a well-equipped coffee house in Seinäjoki city centre. They serve small food portions but their real specialty are different cakes. The selection is wide, so coffee and cake lovers will be happy in this place. If you are not happy (which I doubt) there is an other coffee shop on the other side of the street!
