Whether you are looking for affordable accommodation for your family, or you are a single traveller simply seeking a cozy room with a queen bed and large digital TV, Mittagong Motel has the room to suit your desires and budget. All our rooms have ensuites, air conditioning, flat screen TV's, microwaves as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Our reception hours for check in and check out are 8:30am to 8:00pm. We do welcome late check-ins with prior notice. Mittagong Motel is centrally located in Mittagong, a township in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW. The motel is just a short stroll to the centre of Mittagong, and to golf and service clubs. Mittagong is just 10 minutes off the Hume Hwy south of Sydney and is the perfect place for an overnight stopover.

A convenient stroll to Berrima’s historic buildings, boutique retailers, fine restaurants, galleries and cafes. A great location for touring the Southern Highlands. Guests staying at Berrima Bakehouse Motel are assured of a warm welcome, as well as, a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Our motel features 19 spacious rooms all with ensuites, air conditioning, Free Wi-Fi, swimming pool, outdoor BBQ facilities, gardens,river walk access and within walking distance to all the attractions Berrima has on offer.

Reviewed By Fiona HStayed last Thursday night with friends. Located on the main street of Berrima, everything in walking distance. Motel was extremely clean with everything you need. Lovely white towels, very nice bedding, complimentary bathroom items including shower caps. Electric blankets, coffee machine, complimentary bottle of water plus free breakfast cereals,bowls ,milk etc in the communal kitchen which was also very clean . We were all very impressed, will definitely stay again

Reviewed By David Roy PWe booked 3 nights for our 52nd Wedding Anniversary . We booked a Deluxe King Room with Spa Bath which we were informed was the Best of all the Rooms . The Room was very Large and Comfortable and very Clean , on the 2nd Floor of this 2 story Motel . It had a Juliette Balcony over looking Bessemer street which is Tree lined affording good privacy to the Room . It had a King Bed which was very comfortable with a good selection of Pillows & Extra Blankets as it would get Cold in Winter in the Highlands . Heating was by way of a Reverse Cycle Air Conditioner which was very Quiet and unnoticeable . A Pod Coffee Machine and Pods was available as well as the Usual Tea/Coffee/Biscuits facility . A comfortable Chez Lounge , an Armchair and a Dining Table & Chairs . Also a DVD Player as well as Iron & Ironing Board & Hair Dryer . The Bathroom is quite Large with a 3 corner Spa Bath and twin wash basins and a separate Shower Cubicle . We found the Jets on the Spa Bath were not at all Powerful which was a bit disappointing . Room Service is available for all Meals but the $10 Room Service Charge we thought to be expensive . Noise from passing Traffic can be heard in the Room as the Windows are Not Double Glazed , but was not an issue at night as very little Traffic passes by at night . All Meals & Drinks are supplied by the Services Club which is attached to the Motel Grounds and is approx a 100 m walk . They open at 6am for Breakfast service and serve Lunch as well as Dinner service , They have most tastes covered at reasonable cost . If staying more than 1 night and are dining in the Club it may pay to Join the Club as Members save on Meals as well as Drinks . We stayed at the worse possible Times as it was during the recent Rains . The 2nd Day of our 3 night stay , Mittagong experienced 165 mm of Rain . Walking to the Club was impossible as the Driveway was more like a River for Most of the Day . There is plenty of good Parking in Both the Motel and the Club . There is Budget Motel Rooms attached to Club .

Reviewed By Voyage273267Greeted by unfriendly receptionist who refused to accept the NSW accommodation voucher. Rooms were basic, but very clean. Over priced for the standard of rooms and considering there was no breakfast included! I'm sure there are better and cheaper venues in and around Bowral.

Reviewed By DianeF24Stayed Friday & Saturday first impression nice, clean, very spacious. Staff very friendly and loved the area, great location to lots of things in this area, this was great. Only one problem was the frequent train runs and their whistles plus the very thin walls, could hear everything next door. No matter what place you stay in Bundanoon I think you would here the train as the train runs through main part of Bundanoon. Small business is having a hard time so give this ago I'm sure you would be happy especially if you are a family.

A great Motel in Braemar/Mittagong
Reviewed By 84CedarhouseWhat a great motel for a stopover, stayed 2 nights, clean, new bathrooms, comfortable beds, nicely airconditioned and spacious. Little kitchenette very handy. Although this motel does not offer breakfast due to COVID many eateries a short drive away, or bring your own light breakfast which we did. Yes the motel is located on the Hume Highway but it was still quiet, I would not say that it was noisy. There were lots of guests staying for 1 night as had Weddings to attend. Would be ideal for 1 or more nights. Had a lovely garden and lots of gazebos to sit in, would be lovely in the warmer months. Check-in was friendly and efficient. Parking right outside your room. Could not fault the Poplars Inn - would stay again.

Reviewed By jenny sThis motel was quite honest about what it was. Advertised as 3 star, it lived up to that description. It was dated inside and out, had no extra facilities like a laundry, breakfast options or any general information. The bed was reasonably comfortable and they had done a fair job of renovating the bathroom except for one area of sealing in the shower. However, the overiding jssue was the smell. It claims to be a non-smoking motel but I don't think that has been the case for very long. The smell was of stale smoke with an unidentifiable musty presence. When we returned to our room each day it nearly knocked us out. I used so much room freshener but it made little difference. The staff were very friendly and keen to help but didn't seem to understand the industry very well. This is a last resort option, as it was for us. I wouldn't recommend it other than that.
