Things to do in Kecskemet
A cÃm mindent elmond. A városban itt a legjobb a fagylalt. Nagyon sokan szoktak lenni a nyalakodók, de a kiszolgálók pörögnek, ezzel együtt kedvesek.
I stopped in here after smelling it around the corner. It was worth following the small! It's a small Italian place, nothing fancy, but the margerita pizza was amazing! Great little lunch stop!
My family insist on coming here for pizza when they are in Kecskemet. The pizza here is always very good. The service is friendly and exceedingly professional. The head waiter can remember all the orders and drinks without writing anything down and he is very accommodating. Lets remember this is a pizza place and not a gourmet Italian restaurant. The team always deliver 100% on our expectations. Pizza and pasta dishes are very good and my tip is stick to that and a bottle of wine. You will not be disappointed.
Kb. fél éve vette át az új tulajdonos ezt a kellemes kertvárosi éttermet, melynél rögtön újÃtásokat is végzett. Menüztetésbe is kezdtek, ami nagy siker arat mindenkinél. A hely kedves, a kiszolgálás profi, az ételek finomak. Családi rendezvényt is vállalnak. Jót tett neki a vérfrissÃtés!!!!

While studying in Kecskemét this was one of our regular haunts. The beer was decent and a liter was cheap. The food was always great. No matter what I got I always enjoyed it. The waitstaff could be a little sassy (but of course as English speakers in a tiny Hungarian city what do you expect). The owner was always friendly though! If your looking for good value this is your place!

I really liked this place. In a back street (sort of) in the center of town, down in a vaulted cellar. A very nice atmosphere. Food is excellent. Large portions for a very reasonable price (for a foreigner at least). Big selection of Hungarian wines adds to the value of this place. Staff is very attentive and quick to be of assistance. Recommended wine for my meal with excellent precision. Lovely place!Thank you very much and look forward to you!

After wandering around Kecskemet looking for fine dining for dinner, this small establishment proved that good food doesn't need linen. With four tables, they do a brisk takeaway business. My meal consisted of Penne Bolognese, freshly prepared, a Caprese salad and a bottle of beer from next door. No frills, but great food.

For years I was planning to go there and try the REAL Italian pizza! Many of my friends told me it's the best in Kecskemet! So last month when I was in Kecskemet I took my wife there to see how good is that Pizza! The place looks really nice (nothing fancy)! The waiter and the bartender was NOT AT ALL friendly (many restaurants in Kecskemet have terrible Staff)So I ordered a pizza with ham , mushroom...Well the price of the pizza is quite expensive for Kecskemet! Around 10$for a mid size! And then came the surprise! The mushroom on the Pizza was from a can NOT FRESH!I was really-really shocked! that's it no way i'm going back there! There are at least 5 pizza places in Kecskemet where it's lot better and at least 40% cheaper!

I visited this place for several times. The atmosphere is super, service is kind and fast, but sadly only cash payment is accepted. The pizzas are good, sometimes there is too much oil in them.Other foods are perfect. They also stream the most important sport events, like champs league.

When reading through the reviews one thing is popping up very often: 'nothing special'. Now here is the thing: traditional italian food is - surprise: nothing special. It is not the fancy french cuisine, neither molecular gastronomy. And if you have ever been to Italy and had a real good, traditional lunch or dinner you know that portions are huge (serving is usually not in plates but in the actual dish that was used for cooking), food styling and design is basically non-existing or minimal and the only 'special' thing are the ingredients, so just the food.If you go to Cezar with this in your mind you will not say it was nothing special. I know many people in Budapest who are happily willing to drive to Kecskemet (ok, only 1 hr drive but still) just because of the food served here. Would you do that for a 'nothing special' pasta or average pizza? I dont think so..And if you complain about the place being crowded, would it be better empty? A full restaurant just means that people actually do love the food - and no matter what, the staff is always smiling and helpful.Overpriced? Compared to what? I find it hilarious that scandinavians are complaining here that this place is overpriced. A penne with porcini mushroom and Parma ham is around 15EUR and no matter how hungry you are you cannot finish it; a pizza is around 17EUR..while a Big Mac sandwich (not menu!) in Sweden is around 5EUR.I know I am just one out of n+1 reviews but in my opinion this is an authentic traditional italian restaurant with good food and good service and without the fake italian decorations or other 'mandatory italian show elements' of similar restaurants.
