Varlert Terrace is an open air bar situated right beside the wall of the Gyula Castle which is surrounded by a beautiful park with a lake ; it is across the entrance to the Gyula Spa ; this is a bar open in the summer season where especially in the warm summer evenings you can enjoy a drink ; people come here for coffee,beer or a glass of cold wine at very affordable prices ; the location is very good being in the heart of Gyula, near the Varfurdo,the Gyula thermal spa and near to the hotels of Gyula ; it is recommended for those who like to stay outdoors and for smokers too due to its pleasant ,quiet atmosphere ;

Szerény étterem szerény árakkal. Napi menü a hét minden napján. A pincér pedig zseniális! :) Ha Gyulára megyünk, ide mindig bemegyünk.

A korábbi pozitÃv tapasztalat ellenére most csalódnunk kellett az étteremben. Az étel sajnos hideg volt, nyomokban tartalmazott húst a megrendelt BBQ oldalas - annak ellenére volt hideg, hogy a grillsütÅnél volt ténykedés. Az ötlet a tulajdonos részérÅl jó volt, egy hangulatos kis vendéglÅ, de köszönjük, többet nem megyünk!!!!

The place is not in the city centre, but it is really worth to take the small trip! There are several craft beers on the tap, but the IPA is was my favorite! The place and food was also excellent. Additional great advantage, that everyone can have a view on the beer factory from the restaurant! 5*Thank you so much for your kindness! It makes us always happy, if our guest are satisfied!We are looking forward to meeting you again!

The garden in the back is quite nicely arranged and gives you a relaxing vibe. The local meals were delicious, especially the gulyas soup. However, the pizza 4 formaggi was not very good. The waiting time for ordering and receiving our foods and drinks was good and the waiter was very polite.

A real gem reopened in Gyula after decades. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the terrace is even fancier with the massive parasol as in the photos of original Komló for 80 years. Interior is also pretty. Food: the menu shows photos of each and every dishes. In 2017...! This restaurant should not degrade itself giving such a cheap preconcept for their food quality thru pics of the meals. By the way the prices are modest. Waiters are too easy going with the guests - presumably amateurs - could be more professional. Overall good rating, opportunities mentioned to improve.

Unfortunately we were not satisfied at all. We had quite high expectation due to the reviews on TripAdvisor but the restaurant did not manage to meet the expectation.There is no atmosphere at all, food was not bad but neither very good and definitely the service should be better.You can find much better place to eat in Gyula as we have found too.

The restaurant is modern and it has good quality food. It serves traditional dishes in generous portions, at affordable price.They serve a daily menu for lunch on weekdays at about â¬5 (includes first and second dish & dessert). However, vegetarian options are very limited..Its wine list includes good hungarian wines, and they offer a wide variety of cocktails, so it's possible to go there only for a drink.The waiters are poslite and helpful. All in all the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.
