.The jack is grill bar with great food beer & music
This was our fourth visit, and the taste and quality continued to be strong. Great drink list, great hummus, nice size portions, everything fresh and very tasty. We love watching the sunset over the beach.Be aware, though, it can be smoky and a little loud, but so worth the visit!

Where to eat International food in Ashkelon: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I'm proud to say that this review is quite longitudinal - I've been a customer of Nissim's place for nearly 30 years, and have been around the block a few times for comparison-sake.Falafel stands in Israel always claim to be "the best", "the king", etc. - but what really matters is freshness and quality. In this respect, I can whole-heartedly say that Nissim's place by far beats out the rest. Their freshness of pitas, salads, shawarma and falafel is unmatched. My father makes regular pilgrimages for his shakshouka; I crave their couscous and chicken on cold days (only served once a week!). And whatever you do, don't skip out on his enormous french-fry which he puts on top of his falafels! As far as location goes, he's adjacent to the Ashkelon bus station - there is usually traffic and some bus exhaust in the air, but on a calm afternoon you can sit under the Shiqma tree at one of his outdoor tables, and soak in the sun and people-watch with a great cheap meal.
